If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

What block height are you seeing on yours? I can only see up to 14,275 on http://blockexplorer.bytecoin.in/chain/Bytecoins and also on the network stats here: http://pool.bytecoin.in/stats_netw.php

...I'm still on 14286, could it just be a shortage of hash power?
There seem to be quite a lot of bugs with this currency, it seems that the vast speed for a brand new currency, or some other factor, is breaking a lot of the clients on the network (e.g causing lost transactions and blocks).

atleast we know these problems will work themselves out, since bitcoin doesnt have them and its just bitcoin2.

Blocks are coming in pretty slowly but ive gotta say its not as bad as i thought it could be after this re-target. Honestly im relieved it isnt slower. We just have to get through this one phase and make it to the next re-target and it will be smooth sailing guys. Hash with all your might!

Now showing 14290 on that site, seems ok

I think blockexplorer.bytecoin.in is broken or on alt chain (continuation of April 1st prank??).

Currently it shows I have 78 BTE (I've generated these through their pool).

In fact I've solo-mined 650 BTE before that, so my real balance is 728 BTE.

Them: http://blockexplorer.bytecoin.in/address/8XQP58Rw597yHhUgNfYpmxoqGuvCdrqcgX

Me:

Note that received and balance are not the same, maybe because the other coins were solo-mined?

A lot of mined blocks became orphaned. May this be the cause?

4ghs mining, first block is in the wallet  Cool

(does it work if i point other miners to 192.168.2.* (the * is my pc running bytecoin and mining)

Or do i need to setup wallets on all the miners?

Thanks in advance Smiley Maybe opening a public pool with 0,5% proportional or something similair. But now its easy to solo mine Tongue To bad ther is no total hashrate known somewhere on the internetz.

Wow, less than 30GH/s total network hashrate, with 1832 blocks to go before it is adjusted...

No wonder the network has been going so slowly
