Seams strange rule that you only have to post once a week here once a week on this threed and nothing else?  Or am I wrong?
Yep...Once a week here and that's it Grin

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1660352.0

I missed that thread but I have the signature since the beginning (or better before the start of the signature campaign)  Grin So I don't think it should be a problem.

I remember quite well when the Pineapple showed up with the Ark Colors.

What will be at issue if I make a post in another tread Huh

no issue, we just don't want you to spam other threads with hate or just like one or two words.

If you talk in other threads, wonderful Cheesy

I still do not understand, where the tread I will post 1x / week Huh

What is this??? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1660352.msg16879555#msg16879555

to qualify for the signature bounty, you just have to post on that specific thread once per week.  If you do then you will count for that week.  If you don't post there that week you will not get the signature bounty for that week.

There is no requirement to post outside of that one thread if you don't want to.

Isn't posting once a week quite minimal? Obviously I'm not saying everyone should go spam many different threads, I'm just curious? I've just joined the campaign also so I was just wondering, cheers!

Just as predicted...the hefty LSK bonus made more damage than good after post day 1 merely 150 BTC worth of funds were raised....why would anyone participate now knowing others have bought so cheaply?

The problem with you reasoning (while holds some truth) is that you assume that our highest aim is 2000 BTC while it is not, it's the lowest. So if we get 20% more funds then that is true, those who sent in the last 20% will get much less. But the thing is, as events progress, interviews and promotions line up, last minute investors get ready, much more funds should be incoming, and the early bonuses will be just that early bird rewards, meaning little overall.

They haven't read our profile at the prestigious Smith and Crown read or heard other interviews, AMAs and other info to come. They haven't seen the source code released, the testnet launched, the beginnings of a community form around a more fair DPoS delegate system. This TEC is far from over, thinks always go slow after the initial rush, and you are right, our heavy early bonus structure enlarged that effect.

It's all about risk tolerance as Mike said. Those who take more risk, having their money tied up longer, will get more as they should.

Many view these bonus structures as a marketing tool to build hype, but they are actually a way to reward those who take a higher risk with a higher distribution.

Those who exchange early are taking on higher risk from reasons like ale has mentioned. The early adopters face the most uncertainty regarding if the project will launch, how much value the token they exchanged might lose over a longer period of time, and how much of the distribution they will receive.

Those who prefer less risk by waiting until the end of the exchange benefit from much better knowledge of these factors, and receive a correspondingly reduced reward.

Also, the volatility of Lisk is much higher than that of Bitcoin, presenting even a higher degree of risk. This significantly higher risk for those exchanging Lisk for Ark is reflected in the higher bonus it receives, and the steeper curve by which the bonus is reduced.

Overall, the bonus structure is designed to accommodate a full spectrum of risk tolerance.

I guess there shouldn't be a problem - only thing is you won't get stakes for those weeks you missed posting in that specific thread. Rules of the Signature campaign are clear. I hope whoever manages that signature campaign is doing his job diligently and checking the participants and their posts in that thread. Smiley

You need to make one post per week in order for your bounties to count at the official ARK signature bounty thread at Bitcointalk.

It seems the threshold just stucked on 78% for 4-5 days. Do you guys think that this is because of the lisk transaction problems? The bonus will be decreased week by week, and this equals to amount of participants. I saw some people who couldn't enter the ico and not tried back because of this transaction problems.
Decent experienced some problems on the first day of its ICO, which led to a postponement of 24h. Still, it was a success. I believe this problem may be overcome.

Well... I could participate even with that small LSK bonus at the moment, but my LSK are locked at poloniex and bittrex.
Their wallets just don't work.

This has been a chronic problem for transactions sent from an exchange where they have been frequently delayed for days at a time.

The best practice for sending Lisk is to buy well in advance of the bonus deadline, download the desktop wallet from http://desktop.lisk-wallet.com/ , create a Lisk account, withdraw the Lisk from the exchange to the account in the wallet, and then send the Lisk directly to the address given by the Ark TEC site. Since this wallet was created by the lead developer on Ark and funded by the GDT group from Lisk, from which the Ark Crew came from, this wallet is also an opportunity to see a preview of what you can expect from what you are buying - it is an example of fine craftsmanship, and why I felt confident in joining this project.

This method has worked flawlessly 100% of the time.In general, this is the best practice to use in any token sale, even for Bitcoin purchases - both to be sure to meet deadlines and to facilitate resolution of any problems which might come up with a transaction. Ark has recommended this prior to and during the campaign. Exchanges see very high volumes during token sales and their performance can be unpredictable.

It might be easier for participating in ARK-TEC but remember that ARK will not have an official web wallet so it is a good idea to get a feel for using the desktop client.
We don't want to experience the same nightmare Lisk did on main net launch.

As an initial investor myself I hope your'e right altohough I am doubtful

Campaigns typically have either a bathtub curve or a hockey stick if they are lucky, with smaller spikes at the end of each bonus period. A good rule of thumb for the minimum amount raised is twice what is raised during the first week of a month long campaign.

We are in that middle period after the initial burst from the higher risk group - those who really believe in the project from the start along with those joining for the bonus - and at the end, when the lowest risk group has gained as much information as is available about the project, the likely distribution, and the public's reaction to it, and then joins. There is also the group which makes an initial exchange to collect the bonus and have a stake, then adds an additional amount at the end based on their evaluation of the probability of the project's success and maybe to meet a target for a percentage of the total distribution.

Our job as a team is to continue to work during this critical intermediate period with reduced visible results to show the community that this project is worth their continued attention and time, and that this project and its community is attractive to that last group of financially savvy individuals.
