Just installed it tonight on Linux, no blockchain to download and was up and running in less than 10 minutes. A huge plus in my book. Low barrier to entry if you already have bitcoins to buy ARK with. The only downside is just googling "ARK" will bring up posts about the video game lol.

Initial impressions are positive on the front-end, but I'm still investigating the tech.

This is my biggest issue with this coin, I really think they should consider renaming it before it gets big. Most people going to associate the name with Ark: Survival Evolved. That game is insanely popular and will not be beaten in SEO anytime soon.

One would be really dumb to sell now. The current decline of the recent enourmous all time high of ~1.25$ is obviously a result of the current BTC rally to its new all time high. When it reaches 3k$ or shortly before that, people will flood the altcoin market again and ARK will probably not miss out. I think 1.5$ to 2$ within 2-3 weeks is realistic.

You don't have to vote again.  Only time you need to vote again is if you want to vote for a different delegate.

You lure people 90% shared from dpos but you many days waiting for start forge because you have to long time payout reward !!!
Simple example you cant back in forging 51 delegators. People afraid vote to person who offer 1 time on all week payout (every friday). Its to long time and position pools changing often.
Check quarkpool he/she offer payout every 6 hours and after start this pool he jump from standbay delegeates to top 3 delegates.
I am too vote him when he not even in working delegates but he was to popular and jump to top 3 in 2 days so my profit from forging rapidly drop so I again change to other miningpool with lower position in top 51.
Nobody like waiting more than 1-2 days to payout so change rules 1 payout in friday to many often and you will back to 51.
Huge % shared and some rewards for kids to back to top 51 and after turn it off no help you if you have 1 time on week payoff.
Or find few people who have enought votes to you to be in 51 delegates and shared him good % from only needed votes to be in 51 and not many higher than top 51. mining pool with very high position on toplist only make less profit from forging because more people waiting for shares from forging than delegate on last 51 position. Funny that you make a whole point of a payout needing to be fast, but the first delegate on your calculator also does 7-day payouts. Personally I don't mind a weekly payout. I'm not going to check my wallet every 3 hours to see if I received my 0.56 ARK. Just make it one transaction per week and I'm happy...

How is heliohash even paying any rewards?  I'm looking at the delegate list at https://www.arknode.net/VoteReport.txt
and heliohash is 53rd.  Close to 200,000 ark behind the 51st position.
