Hi all,

I recently installed ARK 1.3.1 desktop wallet, however where can I find the private key of my ARK address?

Thank you in advance.

BR

You need to create one, click on CREATE ACCOUNT.

I did, however I cannot find the private key of my address? Only a passphrase?

If you open the wallet and you're on the main screen. Click on the wallet you're using and at the top should be your address.

But the address is not the same as the private key, right? When you for example create a wallet on myetherwallet you have a public address to which you can send the tokens and a private key with which you can log in to your wallet.

So where can I see what the private key from my ARK address is?

Thank you in advance.

Your passphrase is your private key. This is not myetherwallet, just dumb question or fud. Never lost your passphrase and if you creating a second one also save that.

Often, but more exchanges are not magic bullets for higher volume. Bigger exchanges won't just add random coins it's a lot harder to get them to list than people seem to thing, while other low volume exchanges most of the time are half scams, they try to get stupid amount of money to list a coin, because they can't make enough on trading fees.

Also, I'm not sure what is with btcma, if you real his post history he is obsessed with the idea of new exchanges, especially chinese ones.

so long time ark holder bought some in april I think when the marketcap was arround 6m bought for a few btc back then should have bought way more since ark is doing great!

Still glad I bought some back then since im happy everytime I see ark rise. went up like 3500% so thats amazing! Although I have some I did not follow the tread looked in it once in a while but not enough. should have done that haha.

Im a fan of connecting blockchains think it will be a important step an needed one for crypto just like decentralized exchanges. So thats what brought me to block initially but ark is also connecting blockchains but I dont really understand how the two differ in their approach. I tried to look it up but it seems hard to find some specific answers. Maybe I dont look good enough but if someone knows I would love to hear some more about how ark differs from block and why according to you ark has a better way of connecting blockchains? Or send me a link where to find it? Or maybe im missing a point here that I should nog compare them at all?

Thinking about increasing my stack some more with other gains I made but this time I really have to dig in since its not so cheap as it was back then Grin

Most of these are fake or bot votes. You also don't want to list Ark with some thing like Yoyo, Super Sky Net or Tron and considered this kind of exchange have some credential. This exchange is no different than Bitconnect Exchange which pump it own coin volume. I think it's a waste of time and a disrespect to Ark to have it list/vote there.
I hope people would stop asking for more exchange as Bittrex is the number 1 right now. Also know those Korean exchanges are fake volumes.

More exchanges always helps with better awareness and wider distribution for the coin.ARK should concentrate on getting listed on korean and chinese exchanges now.

Well, this is pretty much what they've been doing all along. ARK isn't listed on many exchanges, and the devs do not care for setting dates on the roadmaps (even if it DOES get updated) and/or marketing stunt. They just get shit done, so far. There will be plenty of times for more exchanges and awareness/marketing in the upcoming months.

And I totally agree with you. There's already too much hot air around, no need for more.

I would buy at $0.50. I'm waiting. Cheesy

I doubt that ARK will have its Mcap divided by 3 soon.
Money to be made biying the dips and selling the highs. Currency has been very volatile and "quite" predicatble using basic trading indicators.
You can make 2% steps by 2% steps playing 50% of your portfolio.

for that type of trading, I would recommend some bot software like Gunbot
Its having very good strategies and will buy/sell 24/7

But you still need to pay a lot of attention regardless of the bot you are using or it could really fuck you over. Don't just lean back when you got one up and running.

you don't need a bot to make 2% steps. Just trade wisely following some technical indicators.
And I agree: it's a dangerous game to use a bot...

True, but always better to be safe than sorry. Have you actually used bots a lot and is there one you specifically liked?

Nope, no bots. I don't trust them.
Good ol' live trading...

Totally on your side. Thanks for your honesty. It's always tempting to read about machines that make you money, but in 99/100 cases it'S complete bullshit. I am convinced though that there are some pros out there with superior software who make money of bots.

There are only two machines that truly MAKE money, the Political Machine and the Printing Press. And we all know how well that works...

Nice comment, true words Wink
