If a person or a group of people are unable to understand bitcoin then it is because of their education level and their involvement in the online world and digital technology and I know these people are far back in that field.
In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

A lot of people in Africa or people in other parts of the world have been using bitcoin to send money to friends and family in Africa. I have a friend who actually uses bitcoin every month to send money to his brother, and his brother simply sells all the coins to a trader there. But they do have lower rates, which are anyday better than other services.

From my observation from bitcointalk, African are not really make it in bitcoin or other altcoin. I try to introduce bitcoin to my colleague but it seen their don't understand what am saying. Is it that we don't study or we underrate the potentials of bitcoin?
I think it is due to illiteracy and lack of better infrastructure that causes Africa to lag behind in bitcoin but I am sure things will change sooner and African will also adopt to bitcoin in numbers

The reality really hurts, I think this is not just applicable with Africa but as well as the other poor countries.

They are lacking of the support of their local government and on their materials if their government will have the initiative to help them then for sure they are going to be able to develop Africa just like middle east countries.

Stop treating Africa like one country, it is enormous continent. Highly divided both ethnically, socially and economically.

Some African countries are extremely poor (Malawi, Burundi, Niger, Liberia) some are war torn (Somalia)
and will not reach level development needed to even remotely introduce bitcoin to the society.

But there are some countries where Bitcoin adoption is possible - Gabon, Guinea, Seychelles, Botswana to name a few.

you are right in that part, but it has something that you're wrong. I am African, I am from mozambique, for those who do not know, mozambique borders with Malawi, South Africa and most other countries. In my country almost every one has a laptop and home computer with access to good quality internet. in all universities have access to free internet. everybody has smartphone. If Africans do not use bitcoin? It is not poverty fault. It is the fault of political dictators.

African have great scholars, one of the problems that leave me very sad, is the fact that many television channels and newspapers, go africa poverty news, filming a district and think that's all that Africa has. Africa has beautiful cities, has many North American singers who already came to sing in my country mozambique, 50 cent, ciara, Ja rule, leonardo Di carpio made a movie in my country. Mister Bean made  movie in my country.

Do not be deceived with documentaries that go on television about Africa. Africa has a lot of potential and may well use bitcoin smoothly. But this will depend on the corrupt  and dictators politicians.

Yes, you are right, some governments censor Bitcoins and any other crypto-currency, but isn't there any problem if you use BTCs in Mozambique? Don't the government persecutes you because it?

BTC would be nice for many african countries start using and helping us on this community.

If you want Bitcoin to succeed in Africa, you would have to bring out a user-friendly App that would run on cheaper mobile phones. Some of these countries are using Mpesa with huge success on any cellphone and they would quickly transition to Bitcoin, if Bitcoin could be made more user friendly.

Everyone seem to develop Apps for smart phones and most of these people cannot afford the phone or the bandwidth that these phones use. They are currently using old technology and they buy small data packages on <Pay As You Go> non-contractual methods.

Bitcoin would do much better there, once companies and developers realize this and start to concentrate on developing tools to adapt to these kind of environments. ^smile^

There are different cases for African countries regarding Bitcoin, for example: I watched a short documentary film about Uganda, Bitcoin is significantly used there because it offers low transaction fees for the people who work outside Uganda, before using Bitcoin, they were paying about 10-20% for Western Union as fees, I mentioned Uganda because this country has a lot of migrants.
In South Africa, Bitcoin is well know and there are exchanges from which you can buy Bitcoin.

The thing that this person is not familiar with Bitcoin is not depending on fact that he's African. You can easily find people in Europe who have never heard of Bitcoin. Maybe we have prejudices about Africa and it's techical and Internet development and infrastructure but things are not that bad as it seems and more and more Africans are getting into Bitcoin world.
If my memory serves me well I've read somwhere that average number of smartphones per inhabitant in Africa is two.

There are some african countries who do not have even food for their life so how will they afford electricity, internet and a device. We have to help them to provide these services.

we can only succeed in live if we believe in ourselves. Though African may not have food, electricity, internet and devices as you said, but if we in African believes in ourselves the sky will be our limit. We have goods brain and good people but our problem is waiting for the developed countries to help us with those things we can easily provided for ourselves. Don't give us fish teach us how to cut fish.

Maybe you should join bitcoin Africa forum. If you not lazy, you can googling it. Also there are have a Blockchain Africa Conference 2017 upcoming next year.

I ever see African build a bitcoin project, they exist in this forum too, maybe not much but if you looking for, they exist with some bitcoin project.

Anyway you have good spirit to spread bitcoin around you, good luck, maybe inviting them to the forum is good idea.

What does that even mean? How are you going to help all of Africa eat and get internet rofl?

Maybe you should join bitcoin Africa forum. If you not lazy, you can googling it. Also there are have a Blockchain Africa Conference 2017 upcoming next year.

There you go. You should find people online that share your interest because as you said obviously 90% of locals haven't even heard of bitcoins let alone want to use them.
