Today, I stumbled over an article about an upcoming indie film named "Bitcoin". I read it on MarketWatch.com. The movie is about two brothers in Arizona who stumble across a Bitcoin wallet worth $20 million and try to sell it on the black market. More details on the linked site. As soon as it was relased, I'll add it to the list.

In Season 5 of Silicon Valley, the coinbase logo is spotted in the intro. It is a nod to Bitcoin and crypto currencies.

Bitcoin has been mentioned in "HomeLand" and "SealTeam" in the current season. I forgot the episode number, sorry.
SealTeam just used the word "Bitcoin" only once after they attacked a poppy farm and recovered millions of dollars.

frankly very many films are a bit telling how bitcoin technology is in use and some even blatantly point out the use of bitcoin and the dangers of having bitcoin so much controversy from some of the outstanding films and getting bitcoin to become famous.

Miguel's sister, Penelope, is in a cult. She was riding a blue bus together with the other members of the cult that's about to do "the giving". "The giving" basically means getting killed by purgers during the Purge night. They believe that they are healing the world by exchanging their life to allow purgers to unleash their beasts within. When it was Penelope's time to do the giving, she was captured by the Nuns and was sold to the Carnival of Flesh in exchange of money. Carnival of Flesh is basically a carnival where they bid people and the highest bidder gets to do whatever they want to do with the person (and ultimately killing them). Bitcoin was mentioned in one of the scenes. It said "Bygone accepts cash, check, and Bitcoin." around 8:20.

Thanks a lot for the hint. I have not watched the series yet. Do you have any video snippet that proves Bitcoin mentioned to link it in the opening post? I searched on Youtube for it. Without success.

Also in Taken series movie, can't really remember the exact episode but it's season 2. There bitcoin surfaced, it was supposed to be used by a group of guys for some sort of bad thing but was easy detected by a special unit of the FBI. The series is really interesting.
