This update has been posted on the site recently
Quote
2013-04-05: It appears the namecoin exchange has suffered corruption on the drive holding the exchange data which caused the crash. I've now got a disk image of the exchange and will be working on recovering the transaction data this weekend. Once this is done I'll post a status here of what effect this will have on trades that occurred between the last backup and the crash. Once a state of the database is determined and balances of coins in the exchange wallet are recovered I'll bring up the site for withdrawals only and the exchange will cease operation.
The weekend is over now. What happened? Any updates?

I paste the last state from the site to keep the post up-to-date.

2013-04-08: Work is still ongoing in recovering the transaction and wallet data from the exchange drive. I'll report here when I have more information. If you have data that will help identify you as the owner of an exchange account please send it to the email or bitmessage address at the bottom of the page. An address you deposited to or withdrew from and your account name, contact details and a namecoin/bitcoin address to send funds to will speed things up. Those that have already sent details I'll contact within the next couple of days all going well.

The mentioned addresses are:

Email admin@bitparking.com for queries or send a bitmessage to BM-BbgTgGa6LX3yYqwJSwdwrzysvfWjM2u6.

Same here. It feels as if we are being left in the dark about something.

Not that I had a lot of NMC but it seems as though another exchange will be made? And start all over since most pools use NMC in their rewards?  Definitely something to keep in mind about this whole cryptoCurrency endeavor.

wasn't there an old saying about a shave and a haircut? that's like 150USD lol 3-2013

Website is now completely down for me.
The (sort of) up-to-date info is currently at:

https://ppcexchange.bitparking.com/
https://trcexchange.bitparking.com/
http://exchange.bitparking.com/

The old nmc https URL is offline, though (https://exchange.bitparking.com/).
Meanwhile I've sent all the data concerning my exchange account to doublec but no answer so far. However, as long as his mining pool is alive and kicking:
http://mmpool.bitparking.com/
he wouldn't get away with nicking all the coins from the defunct exchange, I think.

Still waiting as well.

2013-04-14: I've been working through the emails and bitmessages sent to me for exchange balance recovery. This is taking quite some time as there is a large number of users and it is time consuming to reconstruct account details. I'm working through it on a case by case basis. Emails are getting answered as I process your account details, don't panic if you don't get an immediate response. As I'm processing email messages as I deal with them I suggest using Bitmessage to BM-BbgTgGa6LX3yYqwJSwdwrzysvfWjM2u6 for urgent status enquiries so they don't get lost in the queue of recovery emails.

2013-04-08: Work is still ongoing in recovering the transaction and wallet data from the exchange drive. I'll report here when I have more information. If you have data that will help identify you as the owner of an exchange account please send it to the email or bitmessage address at the bottom of the page. 2013-04-03: The machine hosting the bitparking namecoin exchange has gone down and I was not able to successfully bring it up remotely. I'm working on getting it operational again and hope to have more information about the state of it tomorrow.

Email admin@bitparking.com for queries or send a bitmessage to BM-BbgTgGa6LX3yYqwJSwdwrzysvfWjM2u6.
