Hi guys, meron ba tayong mga pinoy miners dito?

I'm planning to procure two Antminer S7 from China kasi.

Any inputs?

P.S.
I've posted here kesa sa mining section, gusto ko sana makuha inputs ng mga pinoy dito. Thanks!

Define "free". Remember, there is still a "cost" to this. If you're not directly paying, someone else is.

Oo nga pala, other than bitcoin, pinagiisipan ko din ang Ethereum and Monero mining. Since GPU mining, madami dami makukuhang used parts na ok. But im carefully checking Ether and monero pa.

If your company will pay for those, tanonging mo kung okey lang na meron ka dalawang freezer at tatlong aircon naka bukas buong araw.

I suggest get the S9 or R4.

Dati meron akong SP20.

Yung internet mo, gawen mo na 50 mbps either from Globe or PLDT. Mga less than 3k per month. Electric bill mo aabot ng 10k per 1000 watts of mining. Or depende. Mga ganun. So kung dalawa o tatlo ang miners mo na tig 1000 watts each, pwede umabot sa 20k to 30k ang kuryente mo per month.

Kung sagot ng company mo: mine.

Yes bro, actually i already did the math for the electric bill. Yun isang kwarto sa bahay ko kasi is somewhat a remote datacenter ng company kaya well funded yun utility. I have a 2 FibrBiz 200Mbps line sa bahay and a 2mbps leased line. Since masyado madami sayang na bandwidth and the AC is being used 24/7 din naman im planning to make a hobby out of it.

Good luck! LOL. Wag ka mahuli ng company mo. Make sure they know exactly what you're putting in. Baka naman if they realize it's a miner, they will make you pay part of the bill.

If you run one or two S7s, they probably won't mind. But the moment you start a large farm or stack them into groups of 10 units, magbabayad ka na for sure.

Good luck to your mining career and as well to your real career and we hope that your company won't notice you for using their own resources.

Because if they found out that then you know what is going to be the consequences of what you are doing that is considered as stealing and punishable by our law.

But still, we wish you a very good luck for that.

Actually parang ganon nga yun ginawa sa akin ng company, actually i'm also running my own business but automotive related na, dapat aalis na ako sa trabaho ko kasi medyo umaayaw na ako sa IT industry, ayaw nila ako umalis sa company so they made me an offer.

Next year i'm planning to attend the Canton Fair sa China. I'll try to look for mining rigs din doon.
