Someone can make a site where you can find products in stores that accept bitcoin, just trusted ones, so in this way is more easy to users know more stores and find the best prices.. not just in black friday... You can actually use a search engine that finds Bitcoin deals specifically. It's located on the official Bitcoin website so there is no funny business going on with the results I guess. It's actually not a bad idea. Giving people a reason to use Bitcoin (discounts, free shipping, etc) could possibly create some new users. Getting people who have never used BTC before interested is one of the main things we need to do if we want Bitcoin to grow.

I wonder how many people will participate in this, if everyone is running to Bitcoin to protect their wealth? I think more people will hoard this year, if the special offers are poor. The merchants will have to go all out this year to grab the attention of the customers.
I was hoping for some specials on the different hardware wallets. I already have one, but it's close to Xmas and I want to buy some for some friends. < Hint : Buy 1 / Get 1 Free >
I will just double check with the merchants to see if these deals are legit, because last year there were many scams.

I was not part of this forum last year, so please tell me what happened last year that people had to lose money Some scammer made a competing site. People who used the competing site in the middle of the day noticed a bunch of new sites got listed. The newly listed sites were phishing sites and stole people's money. Everyone who used bitcoinblackfriday.com was safe (well as safe as you can be shopping online).

I would really want to be part of this having not been involved in Bitcoin during the previous versions of this programme. I guess its a good moment to look forward to and I hope to get some of the things I would need in a cheaper way than what I will get if I have to convert and buy over here because if that has been defeated, then I can not be part of it. Also concerning issues raised on the first page, kindly look into it in other to protect the image of this project...

I thought it sounded very interesting, I honestly do not know about black friday it. but I've heard about black friday it. black friday is the day after Thanksgiving and is usually the beginning of the Christmas shopping season in the USA. Is that true ?

Hold up a second, is this a *new* website or was this around last year as well? I don't see any positive trust-ratings on your profile, which is what I'd expect to see if you had created this website sometime in the past.
I'm considering spending a couple hundred bucks at least to run some upgrades, thus there is importance in such a website.

Someone can make a site where you can find products in stores that accept bitcoin, just trusted ones, so in this way is more easy to users know more stores and find the best prices.. not just in black friday... I think this is a good suggestion. SOmeone can compile and come out a list of all merchants and vendors. Something like a trusted lists since we know there are also more scammers on the internet.

Looks good. I was probably going to do most of my shopping on websites that still do not accept Bitcoin, but I was looking into places that will accept Bitcoin directly as well. Hopefully less people are going to be negatively affected than last night (remember the scam website being promoted?). Anyhow, are any deals going to be shown *earlier* without signing up via email?
Considering the situation in America, the price may keep rising before Black Friday which would encourage more shopping (if it starts cooling down around that time).
I highlighted the most important aspect. While agree that it is great to see increased Bitcoin acceptance and economic activity in general, I'm a bit concerned that most businesses use payment providers and convert to fiat in the end. Bitcoin can only fully unfold its true potential if direct payments without fiat conversion become the norm, because any conversion adds complexity, costs and possible centralization risks to what would otherwise be a seamless process. Fiat reliance also prevents the establishment of a closed-loop Bitcoin economy. Therefore I think it would be great if businesses that accept Bitcoin directly receive special attention. Maybe we should design an award for them and push their offers up on reddit. ya.ya.yo!

Here's one of the older sites I could find reporting on it: http://calvinayre.com/2012/11/19/business/bitcoin-online-gambling-sites-pros-cons-and-preaching-to-the-choir/Feel free to ask some of the older community members about me if you need someone to + my reputation I switched my BitcoinTalk account a couple times and don't tend to do p2p trades on here.

Ahah, I also do not know why there was a thread like this. I have never seen this before, hopefully this does not affect the growth of the bitcoin. the reason that I see from all the things in this thread gives a pretty bad impact to the growth of the bitcoin. Better think about how to gain greater advantage so that we can live a Department and doesn't need to be hard work again in search of something to do about the world.
