Does anybody want to trade 5 feathercoins for 0.002 bitcoins?
for example: i give you 5 feathercoins and you give me 0.002 bitcoins?
i saw people trading 1000 feathercoins for 20 litecoins
and i saw people trading 1 litecoin for 0.02 bitcoins
1000/20= 50
1/0.02= 50
5/(50x50)=0.002
so ill trade 5 feathercoins for 0.002 bitcoins. okay?

You better keep them. Shall be worth more in the not so distant future.

BitCoin and LiteCoin takes 2 and more years evolving to what they are today. FeatherCoin just launched for 10 days (in a joke actually). It is a bubble

If some guys in the forum can create FeatherCoin by forking LiteCoin source code, rename some methods and constants, build a binary file and ask people to download it and start mining and trading, I can do the same. You too. Then there will be ten thousands of such currencies

What is the point of such cheaply created concurrency?

If see the way people talk about FeatherCoin in this forum, you can find that it is pure marketing tactic to draw attention. Not real interest.

I think it is silly too, but are you saying the creator(s) really meant it as a joke?

I would say yes, if only for the reason that they can be sold/traded automatically on btc-e, vircurex, etc., rather than having to solicit offers and manually make trade books on this forum.  It's your decision as to why you want to mine, whether it's purely quick money, hoping to cash out big in a few years as an early adopter, ideological/community support, just the fun, etc.
