So why is this pumping now other than another round of dumb pump and dump? Looks like the usual -> stagnating price -> pump -> DUMP -> more stagnating price altcoin routine to me.

is there any good news about the ZEC I see a decline in prices, due to his lack of Zec project that was developed by Dev The only reason i know that the price of ZEC was really high in the beginning was simply they have a good marketing campaign and the hype and money they have to promote the coin and i am not sure why people went behind it for a coin which has major advantage to the developers where they have all the advantage and from what i know it is a pre mined for their advantage. |

When we talk about the market cap, several other altcoins are ahead ZEC (LTC, for instance). Nevertheless, ZEC has nice things that I believe will make it survive in the future if its developers do their homework.
The zero-knowledge proof implemented on ZEC is something that we need to keep an eye on because it is a key feature that will become very important to us all in the near future.

No. Only Bitcoin is worth more than ZEC right now. Number 1 bitcoin, number 2 is ZCASH, number 3 is Byteball, number 4 is Dash and number 5 Ethereum. ZCASH to the mooooooon!!!!  You are wrong since you count only top100 marketcap crytocoins. It was nothing but the hype and the slow-start mining. This led the price being over 3 BTC at the start. However, things normalized pretty quickly. Now we are seeing a slow increase in value. |

Thats not the coin fault , the price is market generated and depends in demand most of investors who buy from day1 didn't know that thing called slow start of mining, and they all rushed to buy when the supply was very low so the price follow that madness , any prof.trader won't buy at that time it's logic. |
