What big pump? Brass has been delayed so many times. We might see 0.9.1 till 0.9.99. Everybody is "hoping" and "thinking" for the golden brass news. It is time to get past hot air and deliver some viable results. Other competitors silently focus on developing working software. iexec just released v1.0 in half of the time. Apparently it can be done ...

I think the rise of this sleeping giant is very close. This coin is one of the cheapest coins with a hard working dev. and also big potential for the future.
The demand for the process of a big amount of data is dramatically increasing nearly every second in many fields, like internet, science, sport, markets, even in the schools. The demand for supercomputer is increasing. Golem is the best solution.
That why this coin is so precious.

In my opinion, Golem is truly destined to be on the top 10 without a doubt.

There was an attempt by Apple several years ago to create a network for what Golem now calls Brass Golem (distributed 3D-rendering), but that task was so technically challenging, that Apple finally gave it up. Do you believe that Golem team can do this?

Interesting, didnt know about that Apple thing. When was that? Had they distributed Blockchains at their disposal? You know the Blockchain-invention changed quite a bit when it comes to decentralized tasks.

Regarding the Top10. I don't think that Lisk, Waves or Maidsafe deserve to be Top10. So i am completely fine with Golem entering Top10 and kicking Maidsafe out of Top10.

It was proprietary, no blockchain. But blockchain is not needed for distributed computing anyway, Golem uses it as a ledger for GNT tokens, as a part of payment system. And it uses Ethereum blockchain and doesn't have its own.

Keep in mind that you didn't have thousands of machines fitted with the kind of GPUs we have now (especially in the crypto and gaming communities). There are numerous cloud based render-farms out there already, making it decentralized shouldn't be a huge leap. I think it's very feasible these days.

No, it's still in Alpha, but they released an update to Github a couple of days ago. Check out their blog on Medium ro track progress.
