I think players didn't want to invite friends cause this isn't beneficial for them. Look at the top of winners. Each of them have more than 50 friends. It's like they're not even trying to invite someone from friendlist. It's easy money. They have not need competition on the tournament.
IMHO, this suggestion makes sense.
If i right understand your indignation. It will take some time to get past that and assemble a critical number of interested users. How do you know which of users invited friends and who no? I have to tell you, not everyone is as greedy as you think. It turns out in the future registration system to tournaments will change?  First, we need to organize a tournament under the new rules. Then we will see what decision will be accepted by admins. |

@Northa: Exactly my point. to be honest i didn't invite my friends either but that was for 2 reasons: first being the client was new, so i avoided recommending. second that all of my friends are actually form asia and the server ping is too high, they would not invest time or money in this. but nevertheless, this needs to go more public soon  Right now this is working like a tournament project... but the stake and play is the core aspect of this project which needs to highlight. |
