I'm trying to find out if BitInstant is still working, lots of noise about transactions not going through.
Can anyone post if they has a successful purchase with them and when, thanks !

I made a transaction directly to my wallet yesterday, and it went through no problems. Granted it tool a bit longer than an hour, but I assume they're swamped with the recent demand.

Nope, 2 transfers yesterday, emailed support and they cited 'low funds' and would have to manually transfer, but have not heard back since.

Am not happy.

Well that sucks. I made a transfer yesterday and have yet to hear anything about it other than the confirmation emails. Looks like Bitinstant is writing checks they can't cash.

March 21st. It took almost 24 hours for my wallet to get funded, it's always been less than a hour every other time I've ordered from them.

I made a successful purchase with BitInstant/Moneygram evening of April 1. Took about two hours for BTC to arrive.

Night gathers, and now my bitcoinwisdom watch begins.

Well actually, it hit my wallet two hours later but it still shows as confirming when I hover my cursor over the transaction (278 confirmations currently). Will it continue to confirm with network nodes indefinitely? I thought usually 6-8 confirmations were all that's needed.

Night gathers, and now my bitcoinwisdom watch begins.

Its in my wallet. Time passed was 3hrs since payment.
Quoting myself so you know my original time

Here's the kicker though. When I made the order last night 1BTC was $125 But when they moved the BitCoin in they used this mornings rate at $140 something !!
Now the rate dropped a bit so its a bit lame

I made a bitinstant purchase and it took them over 12 hours to sort it out. they would not respond to my calls emails live chat thing or any of my correspondence. I asked for my fee of 40 dollars back becouse it was not under an hour. they would not reimberse me anything.

im starting to think they are lack luster company that is just to greedy.

you should ask for a refund of there servious charge! why can they say under an hour but then keep if for 24 and not give you a discount. like sorry bout that but oh well we still get paid.  Angry

Is it possible to transfer funds from Bininstant to btc-e? BTC-E's site claims "BitInstant: 13478 USD" but i don't see btc-e as an option to transfer to on bitinstants site

No, I tried to buy vouch x. They advertised that it would take an hour but it has now been 2 days and we don't have anything.

I paid for $50 worth of BTC two days ago, it cleared through ZipZap, and haven't heard anything from them since. It sounds like some other people are having their issues resolved, but it seems to me they are favoring people who purchased larger amounts when resolving issues. I would avoid using them, especially if you want your coins in a timely manner!
