My withdrawal from Mt. Gox has been waiting for 5 hours with no confirmations:

MtGox didn't include a fee in the transaction.  They don't seem to care how long you have to wait for the confirmation.  Complain to MtGox and let them know that you want an option to include a mining fee when withdrawing.

Someone really needs to create a transaction selection algorithm for the miners that will look at all future transactions built off of any unconfirmed transaction and choose the most profitable group of transactions for the next block.  Then you could send the unconfirmed transaction to another address you own and add the fee yourself.
