Every miner crashes

I'm trying to get started mining, however inefficient it might be. I've tried numerous miners and even had guiminer halfway working before. But now, every miner I try crashes. I've tried to see if it had something to do with my video card drivers or something but the GPU viewer keeps crashing too. They all start a window and then promptly crash. I've tried to update my ati drivers and the CCC and everything but I'm at a loss right now.

GUIminer at least ran for a day or two, but not now. I don't know if this is a Window's or video card related problem. Has anyone had any experience like this or can shed some light?

Forgot to include my specs: HP pavilion dv7, ati radeon hd 5650.

Edit: I uninstalled my drivers and the miners will run now. Now I just have to make sure I get the right drivers.
