hi maybe this will speed up some things, when i trow this in to the community. when ripples came out i opened an account and got some free ripples. And then i though ok, now what. I know what BTC stands for so i though i would exchange my ripple into BTC. but then the question raised to me, how do i do a fairly secure trade. Then a couple of days later somebody wrote in a topic that bitstamp accept ripples. so i though a exchange currency site would be my best bet! so i made a bitstamp account and yes there it was a ripple adres! i though lets transfer then and collect my BTC. WRONG nothing came up in my funds so i though i would wait a day, maybe i would needs some time. So the next day nothing in my funds! so i emailed then and asked what went wrong. i told then everything that happen and they said we dont accept ripples! after a few emails he ask me my transaction id and he said he would look in to it. no response from them after that. so i though lets try it with the message through bitcointalk mail. after back and fourth mailing he ask me the transaction id again and i gave it again. last contact was on 13-3 so 5 days ago. now the complete duration of the problem is 11 days. i just want my ripples back.

so my experience with bitstamp is not one i would repeat very soon!

and last sorry for my bad english i'm from the netherlands.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Hello, bjornnl.

What is the status on this? Has BitStamp taken care of this yet?
