Would still like someone to roll a Windows x64 build nice and neat. If you provide a download link for a 'click and install' miner that supports multiple AMD GPU without errors I have a BTC0.05 bounty for you.

Dude, I already told you

He posted the Windows EXE file in the main link. Unzip and Go....

btw sol on 1070 is very bad around 2-3, with windows 10, drivers, 372.90
Is seems that the current release has some issues with multiple GPUs.
Try testing with only 1 card specified in the config and you should see around 21-22 sols/s.

PS: I haven't tried it yet, but you can also try to run multiple instances and use 1 device per instance (something like below).

Code:
# 1st instance config
devices =        ["1", "0", etc];

# 2nd instance config
devices =        ["0", "1", etc];

280x has the same speed with one card

[GPU 0] T=-1C A=-1% sols=9.288

Ah, i made the assumption that .tar.gz was linux only since most people don't zip windows files that way. Thx

I'm trying to run zcashgpuclient.exe in 64-bit Windows 10 but the command prompt instantly opens and closes. Any ideas on what I should look at? Maybe the drivers?

I have the same issue with Nvidia cards, both with the old and the latest build on the links in the OP

For NVIDIA users, you must change the config.txt where it says,
"Platform:#  "amd": AMD GCN cards #  "nvidia": NVidia Maxwell cardsplatform = "amd";

Change cardsplatform to = "nvidia";

My Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 stock runs this at 15.6 sol and 50 deg F after 5 minutes without modifying the default config.txt other than telling it to run an "nvidia" card.

what is the proper syntax for using powertune +20 for 2 cards?

I can't seem to get it to be recognized with:

powertune = ["20", "20"];

Download WinRAR here: https://ninite.com/winrar/

Self installing file, just answer run on download pop up/yes/next etc. Once installed, click on you tar.gz file download - extract to desktop etc... in that directory build you zcash.conf file. Launch miner.

Save as zcash.conf

the pool seem to have some connectivity issues

the stats were there before, but disappeared...for a while...

Pool now configured for public ZCash testnet until 28 October when mainnet starts

Also for the testnet phase you could make payout lower than 4... so it all could be tested.

I will make today 2 video tutorials about zcash mining setup on windows/linux too for helping this zcash community

Why, this one works great on Windows wich is much easier for people who never used linux based distro's..

Cool, and Thx. I have no issue with it, just didn't expect win binaries to reside inside a Gz.tar file Smiley

It will not work with suprnova stratum?
Just do not want to install ZCash wallet.
Can't do before mainnet launch.

It's ready to work with a stratum server, but won't until the mainnet is launched, or it's not possible for stratum until mainnet is launched for another reason?

Hi guys, I need some assistance. I am a Noob. I have a 5 card gpu miner (Gigabyte r9 390) with 15.300 software installed. I am using windows 10.
When I start the miner, it immediately closes. Not sure what the reason is. This is the current config file I have. I copied from @Mare76 (Thanks man, you made it look a lot better and more manageable).

Thanks for the help in advance and have a great day.

server = "coinsforall.io";

port = "6668";

# Your ZCASH payout address

address = "zthTb2ToG5kuAc11Ni6NxoYjoxQdEr2XvST7XEdLvmHG9k7kotEcwYCaAn1SH4zRdPoXn9kNeFm8CQo k9SNtNgn8d9WcdTK";

# You can give this machine a custom name

# Computer name is used as default

# name = "worker_name";

# Platform:

#  "amd": AMD GCN cards

#  "nvidia": NVidia Maxwell cards

platform = "amd";

# GPU crash handling (properly untested feature):

# 0 - do nothing

# 1 - close miner application

# 2 - reboot system (need superuser rights)

onCrash = "0";

# - The following settings have one entry per GPU

# - If you have more than 4 just add more entries or leave it as is to use defaults

# - All entries must be separated by commas and set between double quotes

# 0 = don't use device

# 1 = use device

devices =        ["1", "1", "1", "1", "1"];

# work sizes

worksizes = ["256", "256", "256", "256", "256"];

# threads

threads = ["8192", "8192", "8192", "8192", "8192"];

# -1 means don't change

corefreq =       ["-1", "-1", "-1", "-1", "-1"];

memfreq =        ["-1", "-1", "-1", "-1", "-1"];

powertune =      ["-1", "-1", "-1", "-1", "-1"];

fanspeed =       ["-1", "-1", "-1", "-1", "-1"];

W7 here with crimson 15.12 driver

That's about what I'm getting on average.  I have played with core/mem and worksize/threads and best seems to be 950/1500, 256/8192.

I attempted to put 16.10 dlls into the folder after deleting the initial .bin file and got no appreciable difference from 15.12.
