What are your settings? I just end with this with 4x 280x saphire

Yes with 2 card spilt the hasrate in 2 with 3 split in 10/3 and so on

I had the same on ethOS (built on ubuntu) when mined ETH with pair of r9 380's on old s775 MoBo. Had a 9,5 hashrate on each of two cards. One alone was giving stable 18,5.
 After switching to Win 7 problem has disappearerd and only thing each card does 17,5 even with some mem bust.

So what sys do you have? May be using Win can solve that problem too?

Correct but with multi gpu spil the hashrate if u try with 5 gpus u get 2s/s for each

when this will be fixed on windows? on ubutntu it appear to be working with multiple gpu?

I am on windows because i failed for round about 8 hours to get amd drivers installed on ubuntu :/

I edited the config just to use ojne gpu but it looks like it full ignors it ?

So youre saying I can use this mining on an Eth rig that is windows 10 by just using the windows binary ? I dont have to do the Windows Ubuntu shell install to use it ?

Yes, no problem mining in windows 10, but you must obtain valid Z-Address for payments, it possible only on linux or on first online exchange with ZCash deposit support.

Also how about CPU mining can this miner do both CPU and GPU at the same time or do you need to use something like NiceHash'es fee based miner on a separate console ?

I'll release separate CPU miner after 1-2 days.

is this miner only for win 10, cant seem to get it running on win7 always comes up with an error, thanks in advance

A Windows GPU miner with stratum support is missing from the landscape right now and it would offer a simple workaround for those that don't want to build zcashd on a linux system to get an address. They could keep the coins on a stratum pool and payout to an exchange or wait for a Windows wallet.

The error does exactly say what is wrong. You prob removed an { somewhere, post config without value here please. Or simply just download the basic config.txt and edit it again.

Until there's either stratum support in the Windows GPU miner or a Windows wallet, you're still bound to linux interaction even with this Windows GPU miner in order to create a ZCash address. A third option is if a trusted exchange supports it immediately and you use it as your mining wallet (which is frowned upon by pretty much every exchange since the beginning).

Well its all about the timing of launch. They (devs) never intended to have any windows support at launch. By shear luck, we now have a windows gpu miner only. What I did, was to download and install VirtualBox software. Download Ubuntu 16.04 image file. Load up VB and point it to that image and install form VB. Its actually not that hard, just read and feel your way through it. You wont need a lot of additional hard drive space for the partition part of it. Maybe 25 GB or so. Once you have Ubuntu running in VB go to the last link for the wallet adress creation as well as the CPU miner if you wish to solo mine.

i got it running had some extra instances on the end of the command line, i must have screwed it up got it working now thanks fo all the help everyone getting 15 sols with just my 1060, thanks again
