Vircurex servers are offline--not sure if it was trading overload, DDOS, or something else. Nothing like inaccessibility of funds to shake trader confidence in the system. Seems like these days the only exchange to not suffer from massive outages has been btc-e.

ozcoins ltc pool is also down, seems to be a DDOS aimed at litecoin? I think some people are trying to get the price to drop so they can buy up LTC and then sell and make more BTC / $$$ later...

First the global internet clogging because someone threw a tantrum, then MtGox suffering huge trading lag, and now an 'attack' against ltc?
Makes me wish there was a way to fight against DDOS instead of just defending against it.
These people are below the worst sort of low.
