The current increase is a welcome happening, but it doesn't really gets me excited to be honest. I am more waiting for some heavy volatility where I as a trader can greatly benefit from as that is what I am waiting for. The coins I have in my cold wallets will remain there for a price far beyond the $700 level.

A volatile market is good for traders. In that way I miss the lows of long time ago, where you could get really nice profits from days to days on btc alone. I'm happy with the rising price, though I'm currently low on stock. I think a correction might happen reaching 800$ regions again.

If we really are heading towards the $800 level, then before hitting that level we will for sure see a massive correction. It's inevitable as large traders and smaller fishes will secure profits. My guess is that this will happen just before $750 which is also where I am going to secure profits at. Better safe than sorry.

And that is exactly what I as a trader anticipate on by securing profits at the right times. I rather secure profits sligtly sooner, than waiting for the ultimate moment where I scoop up a bit more profits, where the chances are high that you miss out big time if have miscalculated the situation.

Something else; I think it's good if you look more at how you write your posts. Right now your posts contain too many spaces in between each word. It will make your posts much more pleasurable to read if you stop using that many spaces in between each word.

I just saw on Preev that the price was that high. In my mind a bitcoin is still equal to 400$ ! However, I doubt we'll settle to that heigh and we'll come back to the 600$ range pretty soon.

I hope your prediction about coming back to 600$ will never happen  I have saved around 0.25 BTC and this fast jump of the prices makes me really exited.

What you are implying is that the forex market for other currencies will drop by the same percentage as the btc price disparity between foreign currencies and USD. Otherwise, FX arbitrage would raise the price.

Same here , I wish have that amount of BTC, but well alas i have only a little.  Anyway even a holdings of little BTC, am still excited to see Bitcoin price to pass 700 USD.  And i think it is very possible.  After the correction, without bad press simply means an uptrend price of BTC, and it is happening right before our eyes, so I think we better get ready for the new BTC floor this coming week.

Is there a chart for sterling somewhere, some new exchange I think I read about ?     The deal with US rates is almost a known quantity because of US government debt and consistent overspending they cannot afford to raise rates.
I forget the exact figures because its terrible whatever it is but every 1% is like an extra trillion in interest per year the US government has to find, they already have a deficit even with all the help given from QE and lowest rates ever recorded.   If they cant balance the books now, its likely drastic measures will occur before this is over.
   Bitcoin is really not the weakest point in this argument, rates rising is not a feasible event, what happens next is the Dollar gets increasingly weakened by poor governance in politics and in administration by every central bank of the world.   All of them rely on dollar which is unsustainable as it is now, doesnt matter who you vote for neither party has a solution to this

If the bitcoin price changes for only 1 dollar then you would have a profit of $100 (not including fees), but if the price changes for +$100 you have a profit of $10k which is very great, if you are ready for this what does it mean you are selling all of them?

The price is quite high, but if we are to witness a new ATH, then nobody can imagine where this could go and where will it end up...
This is quite amazing as on what basis currently this is going on, maybe banks and other big institutions are getting in...

Mmmm...I have serious doubts as to whether bitcoin will do anything in response to a hiked interest rate.  And I have doubts as to whether that's gonna happen in my lifetime, too.  The Fed has been pumping up the stock market with cheap money for years now, and these traders have become addicted to it.  When interest rates rise, watch out.  The sky is gonna fall.

It's nice to see $700 again.  We're just about there as I write this.

this rise should have happened a while ago where market was getting ready to continue on upward. but the bitfinex hack caused a turbulence in the market which postponed everything.

there can be many reasons for this rise some of which you can already see on my top comments. but i think the main reason is adoption as we can also see in the number of daily transactions which has grown massively.

I did try Google, just got random Bitcoin links. Like the latest price on coindesk, etc. This is much more natural. People are having a Bitcoin conversation, I join in and many are happy to explain it. In other situations where I Google the answer to a question, I land on a forum where someone else is asking the same question, and someone answer. At the same time someone else is there telling the person that they shouldn't be asking, that others have already asked. But it that person hadn't asked, those other people asking for the same question and Googling wouldn't have found it. So it helps the overall. It might even help those answering, getting them to think about it one more time.

I did try Google, just got random Bitcoin links. Like the latest price on coindesk, etc. This is much more natural. I agree with you, there  are some things about  on  bitcoins related news  are  havent  being answered complete or can be found easily  on  the exact reason why things just happen thats why people would  really tend to  ask  even  if  not neccessary and   thats the nature  of  human they  would really ask   if they are curious  to a  certain thing but  if you are a sensible person you would  find or seek answers first  before trying to  ask  anybody. Back to topic,  im really glad that we reached  again  the  price of $700  and  hoping it would  not drop  again  is price below that price.
