Edit for my experience with them:

I want to share my experience with PowerBet.IO and my opinion

My first impression was: Great, a Bitcoin bookie with good looking and intuitive site, good odds and good limits.

But then read about their TOS: One account per person and requiring documents for KYC (ID + Utility bill). Then they decided to remove the KYC procedure so they become one step closer to a real Bitcoin bookie.

And I moved a part of my bets there - I have a series of big losing bet and series of big winning bets in last 3-4 days.
Till today: when my account was limited to 50 mBTC in bets per event, including tonight's Championship League.

When I ask why? I got their response:

Hi,

I'm sorry, but your account activity exceeded the limits within which a player can be considered as recreational. We're a service dedicated to recreational players only. Your account has not been suspended, you can still enjoy our services within the current limits.

So till I was losing with big bets, I was recreational player. When I won 4-5 big bets, I become an problem.

My final conclusion: Don't bet there! Because at every point you could become "not-recreational" and get limited. There a lot of bookies like NitrogenSports and FairLay where you could have as many accounts as you want and never get limited!

In matter in fairness: I don't have any problems with deposit and withdraws. Withdraws are instant. The problem here is that PowerBet are bringing fiat practices into bitcoin world - like restricting players to one account, limiting anonymity and limiting accounts. Their odds and site are good, but more and more bookies like PowerBet.io and Coinbet24 are trying to screw the whole bitcoin principles. And I cannot support this.

========

Old text:

Very interesting end of TOS

On request, the customer shall undertake to provide a copy of an official photographic identification document (passport, driving license, personal ID card) before the withdrawal will be processed.

Edit: ^^^ Above is obsolete, they don't require KYC anymore.

If no transaction has been recorded on a customer's betting account for thirty months, the funds on the customer's account will be paid out. If the customer can't be located, the funds will be considered donation in favor of PowerBet.

Good luck.

Thank you for exposing your concerns!
On the first part, we do hope to never be forced to enforce the rule. However, it's a common safeguard to protect us against abusers such as persons that could potentially have a direct implication with certain sport events. It is extremely unlikely that we'll ever have to force a regular player to provide identification.
For the second part, a player joining us now would have to worry sometimes in 2019 provided he deposited but didn't use the funds to place any bets for 30 months. Really curious what bothered you with this rule?

I don't think many people will want to submit their ID or driving license for verification before they can withdraw, that is why it is a Bitcoin casino Cheesy

Only email verification is needed in order to enable withdrawals, which are instant.

The ID verification, again, would be enforced only on suspicious activity such as a player betting only on the same team and always wining - which would allow us to conclude that the player could have a direct relationship/influence on that team's results. It's an extremely rare situation that we didn't want to overlook.

I would say what you need now is to just go back to the terms and edit that part and thank you to the person that could take time to read the terms and bring out that part because most people will definitely not read it but when issues happens you start seeing quotations from the terms which I have accepted to without even knowing existed in the first place as we have equally seen on some sites on the forum.

@op I personally see it as wickedness if you cant ask for that when I am depositing but want to put that when I am withdrawing...

The terms are okay as long as you guys don't enforce it like Bitstarz.

LOL, people always win so you consider they are suspicious? Come on, be more professional ok? It is sports betting, it is not dice that has some bug to control the seed. Unless you can manipulate and the game, but those mafia behind game fixing bet with 100k usd per game will bet on your site? Dont' dream to confiscate their money, all your said is excuse to refuse to pay a winner. Next time you will force everyone do the verification.

Personally i don't recommend people play here.

Normally, we wouldn't comment on a personal opinion, but in your case it seems to be either coming out of error or shilling hate (we were expecting a pretty strong shill hate since we've come up with a better betting website than most of our competition).
You completely misunderstood by mistake or (much more likely) intentionally our TOS and our website functionality. Personally, I think it's the shill alert level that determined your post. And here it is why:
- you started accusing us of looking for excuses to refuse to pay a winner, intentionally(?) ignoring the bolded statement in your own quote: "Only email verification is needed in order to enable withdrawals, which are instant.". So maybe you care about explaining how we refuse to pay a winner that already cashed out his winnings through our automated system?
- you mentioned confiscation (?) while the concerns expressed (legitimately) were about ID verification - concerns to which we already responded explaining our policy, which doesn't involve "confiscation"

To be honest, this should really be the last "hate" attempt. We understand people grow fond or are directly invested with other brands, but at least try to base your accusations (masked as personal opinions) on facts?

We just came up with a better website from many points of view and we're confident an erroneous "personal opinion" won't have the impact its author hoped for Smiley

Very tempted to try this site out (same software as mBitCasino's old book, which I really liked). I keep getting an unresponsive script warning when I try to access some pages though, like this. Nice bonus offer, probably will use it later, unless I decide it's too risky.

What is your bankroll, and generally, what would your limits be around for EPL (AH)/(ML)/(U/O) markets?

This is kind of shitty: (see the public computer part)

How do I know if someone using the same public computer I used already took the bonus? Seems like you could easily make it up and use it as an excuse.

At my point, the problem with all these new bitcoin bookies, is that they are buying some platform(feed provider like SwissPlay or UltraPlay) and transferring Fiat Bookies TOS into Bitcoin world. Without any adaptation, just bringing all the fiat negatives. Check for example PowerBet.io, CoinBet24.com, 1xbit (clone of 1xbet with many scam accusations) and for example NitrogenSports or FairLay.

In order to be able to offer you the best btc sport betting platform with a 1st deposit bonus that requires just 6X rollover and it's entirely automated, we have to put in place measures against potential abusers such as persons trying to create multiple accounts in order to benefit the bonus offer multiple times.

It is working fine in my mobile, load it easily without any issues. Maybe there is something wrong with your connection.

Edit : it is weird, just checked it on isitdownorjust.me and the result shown that this site seems to be down but in fact I can open it.

Then change TOS to make it more attractive for bitcoin users:

1. For bitcoin users who doesn't use any bonus - no such shits like KYC. Like Nitrogen and Fairlay and other big names.

2. Possible KYC for bonus users.

Check for example what FairLay are saying :

- snip -

If you want to be 100% sure you are not tracked or profiled via your User ID in the future, you may create a new account every other week.
This is similiar to Bitcoin, where you can either reuse Bitcoin addresses for convenience or use a new one for every payment if you value privacy.

Our bonuses are fully automated meaning all our players will benefit them. We use completely separate balances for player (deposit) and bonus accounts. The player can switch at anytime between the two balances to place bets and, very important, can withdraw funds from player balance - instantly processed - at any time, with no influence on his bonus balance. Unlike other casinos/sportsbooks, we do not void the bonus on withdrawals made before rollover completion! The entire bonus balance is also automatically transferred to player account upon rollover completion and can, therefore, be instantly withdrawn at that point.
As you can see, the entire process is pretty much automated, fast and fair! We really came to claim the spot for the best btc sport betting platform!

P.S. The type of our bonus (deposit bonus based on rollover) is exposed to multi-accounting exploiting and we have to safeguard ourselves and our players against potential abusers. I couldn't find on fairlay (since you quoted their statement) a similar deposit bonus, so why are you comparing our terms with theirs?
