Poloniex - My last withdrawal here had been made months ago. I just learned that they are updating their policy about verification.

Bittrex - Same with Poloniex. And to add, I saw some posts here about basic accounts didn't able to do withdrawals and being asked for verification or passing documents.

Question:

Can I still withdraw without any problem to Bittrex and Poloniex as Level 1 account or Basic Account? Thanks.

Lurking...

I want to know this too. I want Poloniex withdrawal fees but I don't want to share my documents to a global exchange.

I have the same question too.

But after doing research I saw that their is no prompt about verification thing in the withdrawal page of Poloniex. Maybe we can still do withdrawals without verification and as a standard member?

Can anyone clarify this?

When did you create your account? If you created it long ago, you can get a limit of $2000 without doing any kinds of verification except for the email and phone number if I remember correctly. Meanwhile, if you create a new account now, you will not be able to trade unless you've submitted the required details/documents that they ask e.g. Selfie, ID etc.

Can I still withdraw without any problem to Bittrex and Poloniex as Level 1 account or Basic Account? Thanks.

Honestly, Both exchange has received a lot of accusations about withdrawal problems so I can't really tell as by now I guess It just differs per per person because each of us has a different amounts deposited, trading activity, logging activity etc. In short Even if a user had a problem or not, it doesn't necessarily mean that you will also go through the exact same situation.

Others may say shit about polo but I've used them over a year now and never had any significant problems. As for bittrex, I've never used 'em but the high volume of accusations here in our forum and on the other sites should be considered as a red flag. The same usual saying: An exchange is an exchange so proceed with caution.

P.S. Every exchange's support sucks

It depends most likely on the amount, you want to withdraw and you are holding there. I try to keep my funds under 200$ on each exchanger. I don't trust any of them for 100 %, but didn't have any issues with withdrawals on poloniex, Bitfinex or Bittrex.

Out of curiousity,  I tried a BTC withdrawal in Poloniex just now without verification as a Level 1 and it all goes smoothly with a fee of 20k satoshis. Although Im not sure if it's applicable on Poloniex new accounts.

It was an ETH to BTC trade although my ETH deposit takes 3 hours before it reflected to my Poloniex account.

Not sure on Bittrex. I will try later on if I have some spare funds to put on risks lol.

If you have a legacy account on Poloniex (created a year or more ago), then you have 2000$ daily limit for withdrawal, otherwise you must go through verification.

If you want to withdraw from bittrex you must do verification for all (old and new) accounts.
They have basic verification, where you just enter your name and address. It's meant for people from US, but almost never works.
Then is an enhanced verification (for all other countries) where you must send them images of your IDs and selfies, which must match entered data in basic verification. If you don't want to send them this (due to fear of identity theft and similar), then your assets are stuck there and you don't have any means to withdraw them (they've basically stolen your money).

From my current perspective, Poloniex did far better migration to KYC. Bittrex messed a lot of things up with KYC implentation, on top with veeeeery slow support.
