yobit.net’s server DNS address could not be found

Since from morning I am not able to visit yobit site. getting error every time as yobit.net’s server DNS address could not be found.

Check snap below. Is anyone facing same issue ?

Yeah! I cannot open it too. It showing this error to me"DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN". But when i check  it on www.iidrn.com its shows the  site is UP and reachable ( http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/yobit.net.html ).

I think they forgotten to renew their domain name!

it's not about domain name,their domain name will expire in 2018-08-25 which means still far to be expired,it's probably some trouble in their servers network,however there's nothing you can do because the problem is on them

Not only yobit or this forum almost 90% of the internet shows the same or other domain errors.

There is a large scale DDOS attack on infrastructure of the internet for more than a week now it is big and it is very expensive, I can't even post properly without refreshing the page more than 20 times.

Same, especially here and on Yobit, they did release a backup site recently to access Yobit.  It should pass at some point, just keep hitting that F5.

I would  like to  confirm  that  this  is  right,  yobit  does  have an email regarding  with this   on their  alternative website because their  hosting   have  problems nad they  give information   about  yobit.io which is  legit   and not a   phishing site at all  hence  i do  log-in  my account their   just  like   on  normal log-in .
I think they   really have    problem  on their   previous website thats why  they give  announcement regarding  on this  new  site domain.

The alternative option is to change your hostfile to one of the yobit cloudflare ip addresses

I was also facing the same problem from last night, and just checked my email after seeing @alfaboy23's reply and got the answer.
Just change .net to .io and you are done.

I receive the email also and confirming that yobit got compromised but actually i didn't yet visit that one since i almost left that site and not doing some trades on their, and my friend got some confusion about that and though it was a phising site who's scattered but yet it was proven that really yobit owned that one, and maybe let's do some precaution for now so we want hit to their problems and let them fix their main site and go back again when all thing are on the right side.

You should  not  be  afraid   because its   really a  legit   site because   they  send an email regarding with it and  its  not just came from  any hacker  out there.  They have a  problem with their previous  site thats  why  they message all  those who  have  account  on yobit and  i could  really say its  a legit one.

Exchanges are never safe enough to store your crypto. That yobit didn't collapse is no guarantee that it will not happen in the next months or years. Other big exchanges did not survive because they get hacked or someone from inside stole huge amounts of coins. So if you want to play safe keep your coins in wallets where you own the private keys.

Because I thought yobit.net is already a scam but upon checking my email they just migrated their website into new domain.

So totally all the information to their database were safe.

And I see this message in my email too, so don't worry yobit.io is legit.

Yobit.net is still working fine with me,I hope they still can use the .net because of the backlinks and they are popularly known and have started using this domain,people might get confused especially the newbies.

Doesn't look like they dumped their old domain - It says in the message that resolution is in progress - probably means that the old domain will be back at some point - will probably take a few days.

Actually right now it seem both their domain is working yobit.net and yobit.io
I have also received email from them regarding domain dns problem however now it seems it is fixed. Topic can be closed i think.

This   thread should  be closed   by the OP hence this is  already been  clarified  by  most users  here  about the  new  domain of   yobit  ... They have  problems  on  their old website but they replace  it  directly with a new  one. THe new  one  is   yobit.io instead  of yobit.net. The issues  have  been clear off  already
