The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Dear oh dear.

I hope she isn't getting paid for writing that crap. That article is so bad, that it makes me cringe and squirm.

Kraken Account, Robbed/Emptied. Kraken say "Fuck you, its your loss": https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1559553.msg15656643#msg15656643

Bitfinex victims. DO NOT TOUCH THE BFX TOKEN! Start moving it around, or trading it, and you will be construed as having accepted it as an alternative means of payment to your USD, BTC, etc.

as someone who works in journalism, I have to say that is one biased POS article. "tech savvy programers--okay, call them hackers" excuse me? Sounds like the writer of this was on the wrong side of today's pump and dump

Wow, worst article ever. So many things are wrong.

Even the basic facts are wrong.

The market cap for bitcoins is still well over a billion, not $800 million. And "nothing like a serious currency"? That's large than 20 of the worlds smaller currencies!

this article is propaganda designed to keep people away from bitcoin and destroy it's reputation. coming from the uk a country controlled by the banks. the same banks who hate bitcoin and are trying to keep it out of the uk. some bank or rich person probably paid a small fee to have this article written. you wouldn't believe how much of everything in the media is propaganda. atleast in the united states almost everything in the media is propaganda.

I protest! Europe's propaganda is just as good as any propaganda available in the US! (its probably all made in China now anyway).
I laughed. Then I cried, because it's probably true.

The saddest thing is, she actually thinks that a drop from $147 to $117 - a mere 21% drop - is a crash.

'Round here, that's just a little wobble.  Cheesy Especially since we're back up to $131 now.

I wonder what the pay rate is for intentionally remaining misinformed about subjects you plan to write about.  After all, if she did go out of her way to learn, her editor would probably shoot her writing down and fire her anyway.  She hasn't incentive to do that, because she likes having a job.

Fetch!  Good girl.
