Can anyone give me an idea the number of SOLS I would get if I was hashing with 5 RX480 cards?  Or if anyone maybe even knows how many SOLS just one RX480 card can generate?  Trying to figure out if it's worth building a rig, and what kind of ROI I can expect.  Thanks!
Stock Sapphire Nitro+ OC model are capable of 320H/s with some OC. I have 4 of them but running ETH on them currently as its more profitable with a bios mod.

BTW, once ETH goes POS, will you just be switching over to ZEC or will you mine something else?
Yeah, back to ZEC most likely unless I find something else more profitable. The nice thing about the BIOS mod is it does lower the power on the cards so ZEC speed should be the same but less power draw.

When I run the ZEC, I will use higher clock speed and have the same power consumption.

Hi friends!

I found not expensive 6990. Is it good to mine Zec on it?

How much speed it could run ?

I know it. Whats the speed ?

I mean that CM dont support old gen. cards . so its not optimized and i just wonder how much is the speed

I have a HD 7850 card and it gets about ~200 H/s. The 6 series cards will be alot less, so they would not be efficient to use. Also if you plan on using it in a rig with newer cards, the RX 480 Catalyst Relive drivers only work with GCN1 and above cards (HD 7xxx and up).

Why no one mines on this pool? https://zecmine.pro  ? It has 0% fee ...i'm currently mining on https://zclmine.pro and it is super fast and adorable profit. But, we have to work out zec pool, only 2 miners :/

So 280x with same price as 6990 is better? Lets forget about power cost.

Yes, the 280x is a GCN 1 generation card that gets ~200 H/s at around 250W

I can confirm the 280X can get ~300H/s and it will only draw that much power when mining Litecoin back in the day or dual mining while Zcash is less intensive.

just get the 7950 or 7970. around 150 to 175 watts and 285-320 sols (my gigabyte 7950 does 320 the others 285). as is an older card you can get one around $50 to $70. The ROI is 4 to 5 weeks

Anyone know how much less power the 7990 draws when downvolted from 1200 mVolt to 1000? And does anyone know what the card draws in total? Core clock set at 900 (original 1000). Cards produce 560 sols/s.

HI! What hash rate i can expect on r9 390 with the latest miner?

Depends on model, bios mods, clock, etc. But typically around 370-410.

My 7990 drops about 60w down by moving to 1070mV. I don't set less.

For the 1000MHz, the speed is about 400H/s.

I bought a power meter! At stock voltage my entire rig pulled 1300w at Wall! Thats 2 7990 and one r9 280. At 1volt/900 core the rig pulls 910w! 2 7990 only pulls 740w, and that is including one idling r9 280. Running one 7990, other Cards idling, rig pulls 480w.

My conclusion is that one card pulls 260w or 130w per core and that is very efficent in my opinion!

The 7990 is more efficient than the 7970 as they have better cores.
