What H/s speed could I expect from asus strix rx 480 8gb mining ZEC.Just ordered one card for 350$ new from store 2yr warranty(last one available).I think this is great price for this card,am i wrong?
Checked so many stores and online in my country and fund only one available from series 470/480/570/580.

I got both of my Asus STRIX-RX480-O8G-GAMING OC edition, which is highest overclocked model for $265 - $30 rebate. I get ~315 H/s on ZEC. Personally I would not pay more than $300 here in the USA, even with the shortage.

Yep but I am in Bosnia,I was even lucky to find one to buy. Then that is probably price that seller bought card for, with 10% tax on import his profit was about 50-60$.You know how that goes,it's much more easy for you in USA.Anyhow thanks for speed answer.

I think the Americans are luck. Good supply of almost every thing there.

True, there is a good supply and deals when there is availability. At least you can find those RX 480 cards. I've been looking to add a couple more to complete my rig, but the Asus RX 470/480's have all but vanished here since the past two weeks as well as the rest of RX 470/570 and 570/580 cards unless you want to buy from resellers charging $500+. There have been some Rx580's for a decent price on Newegg in the last couple days but they are being limited to 1 per account. I picked up an ASUS RX 580 8GB Top OC model for $299 - $20 rebate.

Yes but they pay electricity more for mining in USA,in my country electricity is cheaper.Smaller country's like mine have bigger profit from mining,so in long run i get defferance from electricity bill.

Hey what pool are you guys getting good results with? I had switched to Nanopool a while ago after some bad luck with other pools, but now my average daily payout, even the estimate provided by Nano, seems low...

Also, wondering what kind of hashrate you guys are getting on RX 460's on Claymore's latest 12.5 release for Windows? Also, what are your numbers for R9 280/X? Thanks a lot guys.

And I do have to say... Claymore's Zcash miners have been tremendously unstable for me, even with his recommended settings as per the readme, but 12.5 seems to be running great! Awesome release, Clay!

Honestly, your best bet is to just run whatever is stable, even if you sacrifice a small amount of hashrate. If 12.4 with driver 16.3.2 runs stable and at a respectable hashrate compared to the other Fury owners, just  keep it up reliable, rather than having to babysit the rig...

R9 Fury here !
Claymore 12.5 (-asm 1 -a 2 -i 5)
Driver 15.12
400-430H/s with powerlimit -50% (125w)

It's important to stick with those drivers, that is the best perf I got.
(With newer driver, I can't activate the ASM option, with give me around 340 H/s for the same powerlimit)

Hey guys. I'm using 12.0 here. Is there any reason to upgrade to version 12.5?
I am using windows 7 SP1, clean install with everything removed including windows update.

I have a Sapphire 7950 (early ref card) with a AIO water cooler installed onto it running 1100/1575 and am getting a 290-300 haste rate with a 63C max temp. This seems low to me would it be worth increasing core speed until my temps are around 75C?.

I normally run NetRunner Linux 17.03 as my day to day OS, my windows install is just for games, as the AMD drivers (flgrx?) don't work on Linux anymore. I take it there is no way to mine HUSH/Zcash on Linux unless I buy a newer card or run Ubuntu 14.04 correct?

Call me crazy, but isn't 63C kind of high for a water-cooled chip? I mean I overclock my GPU's pretty far and only turn fans to 50-60% and get like 65-70C... So for water cooling, 63C is smoking hot. I really wouldn't go much higher. And as far as I know, you're right where you should be after some research on the 280/X. I've heard people doing about 280+ sol/s on an R9 280/X, so with those aggressive settings on the 7950, yeah, you're numbers are probably a tad low, but it ain't worth blowing your card over. Good thing you're keeping that thing cool. I'm the thing hasn't blown yet tbh. If anything, maybe consider dialing back your settings...

The best thing to do would probably to flash a modded BIOS or something like that, but honestly the thing seems to be running pretty good even with a ridiculous overclock. I wouldn't even push my luck lol

On second thought, I think I was wrong on this. So the 7950 and 280 have 28 compute units. The 7970 and 280X have 32. Seems like all have same memory bus width and so on, and I think the ~280+ sol/s, is with an R9 280X... So I'm thinking that maybe the fact that the 7950 has 4 less compute units is what's causing the discrepancy, even with the crazy overclock. Not sure if that really is the issue, but it might be an explanation as to why your card seems more limited in hashrate.

I'm mining Hush coin on aika pool and that reports a 298 hash rate, for 6 hush coins a day. I'm pretty happy with that so far and to be honest I will probably leave it alone. Hopefully HUSH will be worth something. Seems to be zcash exactly but they have more user friendly wallets and stuff being made. But with zcash being added to alphabay, that shits gonna go bananas in price soon. It may even be worth my while making a dedicated rig if I can source some more 7950/7970's.

My watercooler has a very slow fan, and the rad is tiny. It's only there for noise factor as the card I got second hand had a broken fan. Its a really cheap gaming setup I made years ago, but I should have been mining with it from the start. Such a waste.

Is this normal that I get a lot of DC's from equihash.eu and just some rejects from US one, or is it the servers problem or so ? Also I'm using 280x (~304Sols/s).

Linux version not working because of using old ssl library
libssl.so.1.0.0

Since you use Linux, it should not be a problem for you to get required version of OpenSSL. But I will check if I can link it statically in next update.

Why my RIG with AMD R280 Saphire suddenly shutdown when start mining with v12.5

need advice please

Usually it means that your PSU is weak.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

I'm getting a lot of issues with the Claymore miner within NiceHash in the past week, anyone else getting this?

This happens on 3 separate rigs running different cards, Furys, 280 and 390.

What often happens is periods of rejected shares even though the cards are rock solid stable and periods of disconnects/timeouts, I've tried switching regions but the same issue. If I switch miners I get no issues, but of course Claymore is the best performing.

Getting the same.
My idea is there is a new coin/pool out there that is not properly supported by CM miner, hence the rejects.
