Hi Claymore, VEGA it's good.
But when we can see optimization for gddr5x memory? or 37 mh/s for eth on 1080ti it's maximum?

Don't ask about ETH in the Zcash thread. Ask in the Claymore dual miner thread.

I don't think there is a lot of room for ETH mining on a 1080ti. It is significantly more profitable to mine equihash Zcash/ZCL/HUSH on a 1080ti card.  Only a fool would mine ETH with a 1080ti.

You're losing something like $1.10 per day, per GPU if you mine ETH on a 1080 ti.  If you research it a little bit you'll find a 1080ti isn't the right card for mining ETH. You'd be better off buying 2x as many 1070s. They're half the price and do ~30 MH ETH.

Claymore, cannot run v 12.6 on ubuntu 12.04.5

Code:
fermer@ferma1:~/Desktop/Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.6 - LINUX$ ./zecminer64
./zecminr64: relocation error: ./zecminer64: symbol _ZNSt7_cxx1112basic_strngIcSt11char_traisIcESaIcEEC1EPKcRKS3_, version GLIBCXX_3.4.21 not defined in file libstdc++.so.6 with link time reference

Both ETH9.8 and ZEC12.5 work just fine.
Should be easy to fix - rebuilding with an older libc should help

Hello,

I have scoured the internet for an issue that I am having before coming on here.  I have an issue with Claymore crashing due to these following:

Cannot get Overdrive capabilites for adapter 24 (error -1)

They follow a long lisst of adapter #from 0 to 30..  No one seems to have an answer for this.

Thanks

Yes, I had to use Ubuntu 16.04 for compiling v12.6 because GCC from Ubuntu 12.04 has some bugs and cannot compile my code correctly, I spent half a day until I found that the problem is not in my code but in old GCC.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Is there a way to fix it ?
Which gcc version did you use ?
May be it works in 14.04 ?
I have a bunch of old fglrx cards that won't work on windows anymore and it gets harder and harder to support them on linux.

Any improvement for AMD RX470, or is there no need to upgrade?

I think hashrate improvements for polaris stopped somewhere around v11 of the miner Smiley
the stability of various versions may depend on your cards and setup. for instance I was having stability issues with all versions above 12.2 on my mixed rig with 4*470 and a single 370 in slot. however it seems to be very stable with 12.6 now...
I've tried "amd blochckain" driver and didn't particularly like the fan speeds I was getting, so I'm back to 16.11.4

Claymore, have you tried out the new drivers for GPU mining from AMD? Do you have any recommendations?

https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-Edition-Beta-for-[Suspicious link removed]pute-Release-Notes.aspx

These drivers must work better for Vega, though I was not able to install them for Vega FE. For Polaris I don't see any changes in speed for ZEC.

Hi Claymore, VEGA it's good.
But when we can see optimization for gddr5x memory? or 37 mh/s for eth on 1080ti it's maximum?
I doubt it can go any higher than 37MH/s.

Hey all,

I am trying to tweak my rig, but struggling with baseline settings. I have searched the web and read through forums for answers, but all the answers seem to be ethereum, or all the zcash posts are way old

Does anyone know what is a good base hashrate for Sapphire RX470 Nitro+ 8GB and Sapphire RX470 Nitro 8GB, on stock ROM

I can get the RX470 Nitro+ running at about 270-275 Sol/s, and the RX470 running around 255-260 Sol/s, 7 cards total running just over 1000w

But no idea on what is actually any good.

Any help would be great.  Roll Eyes

Hi,

just for comparison:

3 Rigs with windows 7/8.1 64 bit  Claymore 12.6

6 * 7790  86 H/s each
4 * 7850 145 H/s each
1 * 7850 135 H/s
2 * R9 270 160 H/s each

Have a nice day

P.S: The speed is shown at the pool ( 2% Fee and invalid/stale shares are already substracted)

I have a bunch of R9 Nanos. Do I still have to stick to the old 15.12 drivers for ASM to work properly? Or do the new [Suspicious link removed]pute drivers work fine

Can anyone explain why Claymore found only 17 shares in the first 15 minutes of running and then when the DevFee kicked in it found 12 shares in 35 seconds?  (Zclassic)
