Win 10, 16.11.1 hotfix, 4x XFX 480 8GB = 155-160sols/s not overclocked or modified
Win 7, 16.9.2, 1x 280X + 1x 290 = 89sols/s
Win 10, 15.7.1, 3x 280X + 1x 270X = 164 sols/s

Really nice!

Any custom parameters for the 290 rig?  I seem to only be getting between 36-33 a card.

I am getting 45 sol/s on 2 x 290 for a total of 90 sol/s completely stock. With default mem/core, no mods, no bios, and just latest calalyst.

same here, no rejects after devfee mining on 1.0. using -allpools at supernova.

onespec your time between shares is in the mainly in the 40s to 60s, mine is the 300s. maybe that has something to do with it? long shot but hey..

im at supernova btw.

I'm mine on Coinmine.pl.   and this  "40s to 60 MILIseconds" usual ping  from me to pool. And this good for me.
Yours 300 Ms too many for minig, change server maybe.

I think Claymore need something to do with his DEVfee account.
Maybe add   additional Devfee account to Coinmine.pl?

Looks like you're being retarget slightly too high from the pool, just wait about 1 minute and you should automatically be targeted down again.

Alternatively you can always set your own diff through the password field like so:

ZecMiner64.exe -zpool zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -zwal molitar.miner1 -zpsw d=128 -allpools 1 -di 1

Which would give you a diff of 128

or

ZecMiner64.exe -zpool zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -zwal molitar.miner1 -zpsw d=256 -allpools 1 -di 1

A diff of 256

Ok here is a screenshot after running about 3 minutes after starting no change.

It is not moving.

Than I decided to press <Enter> and it says this.

It basically said but would not copy and paste that miner thread hung and restarting.  What should I set target difficulty for these 3 cards realistically?

Currently it's nuts.. I definitely need to lock it at a rate..

yup i know what ms is.

im on evdo wireless. its 3g. and 300s is about as good as i gets for me Smiley 200s in speedtest. two rigs at the moment.

got about the same at nicehash. should try some more pools though, but doesnt seem to effect my hash rate. my 390s and 380 get about the same as others.  some a bit higher, some lower.

@Claymore, can you please consider raising the window before disconnecting your miner after not receiving a new job from the pool?  Zcash blocks can sometimes take a bit longer, for instance the last 6 blocks took more than 36 minutes when they were supposed to be 15 min in average.

Can anyone else share similar details please and what works best for you?

Anything to add or edit? (using rx 470 and 480 8gb cards)

-ttli 85
-tstop 90
-cclock 900
-cvddc 800

Any help would be much appreciated.

gpu-z only shows draw from pcie, which I think for newer cards is mostly memory related

Even so, If I'm getting 35 sols drawing 40w and someone else is getting 50 sols drawing 100w how can that be irrelevant?

You do the math  Grin

PS: I pay for my electric bill!

It's not completely irrelevant. But you absolutely CANNOT accurately use GPUz power draw to compare different cards because they all have different power characteristics. It's only good for doing apples to apples comparisons.

For example, mining Ethereum, I have RX480s that say 70~75w in  GPUz but this relates to more like 120w from the wall. So a 50w difference.

But my 290x, say around 130w in GPUz, but 200w from the wall, that's a 70w difference.

Basically, you have almost no way of telling actual power draw from the wall with GPUz, it's just a guessing game. And power draw from the wall is what actually counts.

And why do you need 2 x 850w PSU to power 6 x RX480? Even mining Ethereum at 180mh/s my 6 x RX480 only pull 810w, from the wall. You certainly don't need it for ZCash, I'm not even pulling 600w from the wall.

Really 600w for 6 480s, thats crazy.....Would 470s be slightly lower?

Oh yeah.. I got 3 470 rigs (all MSI RX470 4GB) doing 530-550W at the wall and I think I can go even lower Smiley

Looks like right now if you have any RX 470/480

ETC PROFITABILITY = ZEC PROFITABILITY

Still more profitable to mine ZEC on 280x however.

Going by Nicehash and Whattomine data

How do you figure? What ETC hash rate do you squeeze out of a 470? Or 390 for that matter?
