My gpu rx470 always crash Thread stuck in device driver How to solve it?
use claymore's zcash first version miner, not v.1.1 same as me while using this v.1.1 version usually stuck in device driver.

Awkward moment, when your 1070&1080 slower, than R7 370 That's the card I have. I didn't change any clock speeds or voltages; I didn't roll back the catalyst driver to 15.12; and I am getting ~30 H/s. I suppose that is not bad for what many consider outdated tech.

Claymore releases and it works so well there went the value of the coin. Because now everyone and there brother can mine reliably.. This coins is dying in value big time now. More sellers than buyers so the coin is dying in value. I really was at the place where I did not want a good miner released.. That way only those who had some knowledge and patience was mining it and running scripts to keep it mining.

Claymore - you are CRAZY man!!! 38sol/s from old r7 370\2G!!!! I'm confused! GREAT!
I know, this is crazy. I just took all my R7 370's off eBay that now I feel I was giving away too cheaply. R7-370 at 38sol/s? Are you using the new v1.1 to achieve this?

we if you really think about it... it is not dying but adjusting as the block gets bigger and the value will be reflected.

In need of a little help..running 6 rx480's in win10, I can get 4 of them to start hashing ok but 2 of them give a "gpu hangs in opencl call" using a asrock z97 anniversary board, the 2 gpu's hanging up are on the end PCI slots with an PCI to PCI-E adapter so I could use a powered 1x to 16x riser. I thought I might have a bad riser but all the cards are recognized and I switched back to mining Monero to see if they would start up and they do with no problems, I can also mine other coins with no problems as well. I set up a huge page file, I have 8 gigs ram and an 1840 celeron. I put in the -wd 0 so it would stop restarting and have been watching it for an hour or so with no changes, if I specify the cards with -di and just shut them off completely there are no problems. if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

I think Claymore's miner is great as usual. The drop in ZEC price is because miners are selling it off for BTC and not keeping ZEC. So I dont think blaming Claymore for making a good miner is justified - I blame the greedy profit taking sellers. ZEC team need to raise the awareness of why ZEC matters because as of now, ZEC seems to be a mine and dump coin

Questions for someone more knowledgable than myself. 1. One of my rigs has two R9 290's. One has 4GB and the other 8GB. They both get in the mid to high 40's H/s. Does that make sense.
2. Does it make sense to mod these cards for zcash mining? If so, what would you recommend in settings and mod software?
Yikes! R9 290 8GB - that's crazy rare. Overclock both GPUs to 1100/1250 and you will get 50Sols You can use Stilt bios to get a lower voltage and there are some memory tweaks if I recall. Thanks. I'll give it a shot.

The drop in ZEC price is because miners are selling it off for BTC and not keeping ZEC. And selling for a too low price. They just want to get rich quick, but don't realise that they are the cause for the pricedrop. Selling is ok, but pls for a higher price!

They just want to get rich quick, but don't realise that they are the cause for the pricedrop. Selling is ok, but pls for a higher price! Once the selling starts then you get trapped. If you hold then the price will continue to drop and end up losing money, but the price keeps dropping because no one will hold. By the time full block reward is reached there will be no profit, amazing how much profit has been lost in just a few days.

And how are they benefitting? And how can miners do this too?

Yeah the sellers were morons in the beginning.. they were dropping prices when there was more buyers than sellers. Now it's the other way around. But there is more sellers because now there is more miners making money. I don't blame him but making an easy miner made a lot more people jump on the bandwagon causing the spiral to spiral further down.

Ubuntu 15.10 Catalyst 15.2 GPU0/1/2/3/4/5: 380/290x/290/290/290 Command: ./zecminer64 -zpool eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -zwal xx.xx -zpsw x -tt 60,90,90,90,90,90 -tstop 96,96,96,96,96,96 -powlim 0,-10,-10,-10,-10,0 -r -1 I'm running the miner (v.1.1) since today and noticed the following. Any clues? Probably has something to do with the fact that your fans speeds are locked at 25% and your GPUs are running way too hot. EDIT: Also just wanted to say good job on the miner, Claymore! Been running 1.0 solid for over 30hrs now with <1% rejects (and those are due to high pool pings -- good shares submitted just before new job)
