I believe this is not a priority for him. As far as I can see, there was not update for a long time. Ethereum miner is important to him, he is constantly updated.

Yes, it would be really nice after so long to release a new miner, if possible without dev fee or reduced. I don't think it can get any faster, maybe very little, or if he write a completely new code - algorithm.

In any case, Claymore is a good coder and miner.

I second that, Claymore is a great coder and miner. This miner is definitely not a priority for him and he's made that known. That being said, its been a very long time since an update and he promised that reduced dev fee almost 6 months ago now. I wouldn't mind paying the full dev fee as it stands today if he would make more consistent updates, even if that was just to support newer AMD drivers. I'd love it if he rewrote the miner even more efficiently, but I think that's a long-shot at this point. @Claymore, can you give us any idea when we might see some love my friend? Its been a long time since we've heard from you. Thanks again for your hard work!

It's too bad zcash team is corrupted and don't want to fork to make Zcash asic resistant.  New asic miners are 10 times more efficient than a gpu rig with the same price. They are already accesible by some and soon will be available for sales.

The developer Zooko is a paid by Ver/Wu shill. He deleted Peter Todd's Asic resistance code. Peter Todd is a famous Bitcoin Core developer, and as we know Ver is in open war with them. We all know that the money in zcahs team came exclusively by Ver, so no doubt what is going on.

Here are links of Todd's twits:

If the ZEC is not changed with the PoW to be more ASIC resistant, it will be used less in the futrue.

Try to remove -i option

If still you have rejected shares, try the old kernels with -old 1 options in your config

Hallo

Ik heb mijn batchfile op flypool like this
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

ZecMiner64.exe -zpool ssl://eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3443 -zwal t1RVadQkyQWdzRz6eVK2gJSDLYvsiNKZfsz.miner01 -zpsw x -ftime 10

Really wish the miner would be updated to work with Nvidia cards, EWBF and DSTM are nice but this miner on my AMD cards seems to perform more consistently.

I think Claymore made a deal with other developers so that others can make money as well.

Hello, where does the AMD RX470 driver download?

If you got a RX 470 don't mine ZEC with it. The max speed you will get is like 280hs or so.

ZEC is geared towards older GPUs like the Radeon 7950/7970/280X or some types of Nvidia GPUs

With your GPU you are better off mining something like ETH or ETC you will make more.

Just go to What to mine and put in your GPU there and mine what is most profitable.

If you have a 270X you should mine either ZEC or XMR.

You can't mine ETH anymore since you only got 2 Gb of video memory.

If you mine ZEC you should get around 180hs. If you mine XMR you should get almost 500hs.

Both will consume similiar amounts of electricity based on the Pitcairn chips.

I have a r9 270 x GPU it should get me 10mh/s i just need to fix this error and try it for a week can you please help?

If you have a 270X you should mine either ZEC or XMR.

You can't mine ETH anymore since you only got 2 Gb of video memory.

If you mine ZEC you should get around 180hs. If you mine XMR you should get almost 500hs.

Both will consume similiar amounts of electricity based on the Pitcairn chips.

I think ZEC consumes more than the XMR.
