You are siding with Nvidia what about AMD cards besides Vega model's I don't like you now cryptonite now I can't mine my favorite coins and Im not buying Nvidia AMD is more efficient on equihash so wtf? There has to be someone else thgat can do this maybe with a more completeG package rather than a bare bone's software program that may or may not work unless your a computer expert. Very dissapointed I think I will invest now in FPGA's
You may try Gatelessgate's software.

I don't about FPGA's I think some devs are already working on a way to make these not work on their chain which they should FPGA's are more centralized than ASIC think about it 3500-5000 for one card plus there even harder to obtain than a asic the difference is your lining someone other than bitmain pocket

I figured he would have been all over this? what an opportunity to keep a nice residual income flowing.... I got a feeling in his own good time he will put out a miner. I just wish he would have addressed this with us, on a yea or a nay or even a maybe lol

I always when it is possible to me I use to choose the best enabled elections for complete tasks. Then for mining equihash I choose Claymore 12.6. Because it is unique on the world. And I love it. We will continue making big fortunes in cryptoworld, also we will continue choosing Claymore mining software for the new btg-equihash 144_5. Here I post a very awesome counter to have absolute control about the new pow update. Come on Claymore, the first mining hours for the new BTG stage will be very exciting, and I would love to have Claymore for mining ! Awesome counter: https://bitcoingold.org/bitcoin-gold-network-upgrade/

Hi ivomm, Very wonderful and very high style logo has choosen, I love it very much. Time is the key, I agree with you 100%. Thanks! Not that I am obsessed with buying a lambo but the idea of the bull is what I like the most. And yes, patience leads to profit and good things in general. Regarding Claymore, I also revisit this thread with the hope he will surprise us with a new version that can handle the 144-5 fork. His miner is the best, while I read about other poorly written miners that can damage the hardware. Distant monitoring of the temps is also very needed for my old 280x's which are hot as hell in the summer

Sadly, he is silent. Btw, I can't get my 280x to mine in Windows. For some reason I get only invalid solutions.

An update to Microsoft Security Essentials is marking Claymore's miner 12.5 as a virus and shutting it down automatically. what should I do?

Add it to exceptions in the program (and restore it from quarantine). It is not a virus, it just recognizes it as a mining program.

It's pretty standard for most mining software to get flagged by antivirus programs. It's best to make a folder within Windows that holds your mining software and have that entire folder listed as an exclusion in Windows Defender. Still be very careful about where you download software.

If the exemptions wont make it, try to roll back updates and if you are not actually keen or conservative about latest Microsoft update releases better not to do an update or disable it some threads https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2878646.0

Basically profitability is more or less the same but at least it pulls much less power and runs cooler. I don't know about your 280X but mine all got fans dying and rattling and on ZEC they already ran hot, but on XMR even with bad fans they run perfectly fine.

Until recently I had two 270x cards mining monero and for the inital cost and power to profit ration they are great, they take a lot less power than ETH mining which want makes them a great choice for Cryptonight coins.

@Claymore Would it be possible to add 210/9 support for AION? I have a horde of old 7970/280x that heat my house and they are aching to mine AION right now. :p Dev fee could be 4% for all I care, just get me a miner for these golden oldies. If these cards could get perhaps 150 h/s on 210/9 they would be hugely profitable right now. I don't know if the dev fee would cover the costs before AION goes PoS in a year? Perhaps we need to scramble together a bounty. https://github.com/aionnetwork/aion_miner/wiki/Aion-equihash_210_9--specification-and-migration-guide.

Must say, a Claymore AMD AION miner would be a wonderful thing!

LOL would any of you mine for 0.3$ per day with 280x? that is what would you get now... 210_9 is more then 2x hard on GPU and memory then original equihash 200h yeah would be on par wit GTX1070 AMD miners
