I signed up to say that I think Zclassic is doing a fairly decent job so far.

Once people realise its not a dump fest like Zcash and we start getting attention I will be proud to have been here early on.

ZCL is cranking away between 50-90BTC volume a day on CCEX alone and the price has been stable for a new alt coin. You compare that to Zcrash which has lost over %95 since launch and even when people thought it might be stable around 0.7BTC, down she goes again! All the way to 0.14BTC.

If Zclassic can do so well on one little exchange and nobody knows about it yet then I imagine once people begin to catch on.

With Zclassic I know what I'm getting. Full block rewards so no crazy hyper inflation dumps and only room to grow.

Its the people's choice.

At the time of this post ZCL was being traded on CCEX. A smaller unknown exchange that people are wary of. They seem to be legit and have been operating for years believe it or not. I searched reviews and found them to be trusty so I created an account to investigate.


ZCL Price= 0.0058BTC
Zcrash Price= 0.17BTC

ZCL block rewards= %100
ZEC block rewards= %54 (meaning they still need to double!)

yeah zcash is dumped because the block need to reach its full reward, so it will remain at worst around 0.1 imho, which is still good and way above zclassic, i would not go too much in the 20% dev fee because in the end no one care, look at ethereum even there was a huge premine but none cared and the marketcap is huge

Why this coin uses equihash as PoW algorithm? Why doesn't it use others such as Lyra2, scrypt, SHA256, X11, etc? I am mainly interested in the technical reasons behind this choice. I know there are aspects of asic mining, but maybe there are more reasons...

Ethereum doesn't take rewards/ % from their blocks.... HUGE DIFFERENCE

This why zcrash are a total failure in my mind, with not clear dev. With huge rewards for them.
Even if this just fork from zcash but zclassic are totally better than zcrash.

Zcrash will be below 0.1 in my mind. The big hype it is not mean having big future too.

Nice too see on a bigger exchange over at bittrex. All need now is polo and a few others and should rev up in price trading activity no doubt. Lets hope it comes with a nice volume increase and not a massive dump on it and can exceed zcrash price and zclassic turns into a nize zmoon and zfuture

Go Zclassic! I have decided to point my miner to Zclassic pool and try it out. So far everything is going well. I look forward to see a more vibrant community for zclassic. I am expecting zclassic to explode soon. Poloniex listing should do it. Happy mining zclassic everyone!
