[ANN] Zclassic, Zcash Fork No Premine, No 20% Founders Tax

Let me get this straight,

The zcash founders were entrusted with keys to print as many zcash as they wanted. Now they've went on record of destroying these keys. But no one will ever know how much was ever printed beforehand because there's absolutely no way to tell. They could in effect have an unlimited supply and no way to verify.?

8 people would have had to collude during the creation ceremony including peter todd.  If they destroyed the keys as they say no coins can be created outside of schedule.

If even one of them actually succeeded in destroying their part of the key and any means to reconstruct it, then no one can create any covert coins without hacking the cryptography itself or some such extreme scenario.

I don't think there will ever be any way to verify that this was done successfully. Although it is hard to imagine that it wasn't given how much was riding on it and the level of expertise of the guys entrusted with doing it. I feel pretty sure at least one of them did manage to destroy their part with no trace left at all. It seems likely that several of them will have succeeded imo.

8 people will collude sounds hard, but the fact is that all these people may know each other, that would make it not so hard to do... There's always the aspect of the real world, people are related to each other.

If the coin is successful , Bitcoin successful  the founders will have 2.1 Million coins, if the coin ever reaches $1000 that's

2 100 000 000 $

Do they need better incentive then this.

Hi all I'm one of the lead Zclassic devs and I'm the one who mined the genesis block. I just wanted to give some input as far as vision with the coin and short-term and long-term goals.

I'm heavily involved in the privacy/infosec community and have been working on an alternative to the Tor Browser and came across Rhett's plan on Twitter about forking Zcash. I thought it was ingenious and offered some help and that's how I came to mine the genesis block.

Lately I've been putting my spare time working on the first completely open-source Equihash pool (https://github.com/joshuayabut/z-nomp) which currently works for mining but still needs a bit more testing. As soon as that's stable I'll be focusing on developing a Windows wallet for Zclassic.

My main goal is to drive up usability of the coin and to make it a better alternative than Zcash. In the end I'm hoping the coin is stable enough that I can include it into my Tor browser alternative for secure and anonymous payments.

If you want to help out we really need people to assist with writing, development, and community support.

Is there any price speculations for zclassic ? if yes someone should kindly point me toit because i am not comfortable with the current price after buying a lot of it at 0.0022 btc.

I've been watching ZCL for days in hope it would find a floor for trading purposes but it's still on it's way ever since. On Bittrex it's 10 BTC away from hitting the 1 sat floor.

To be perfectly honest I just noticed the trend and googled for a bitcointalk thread to see what's up.
You don't have to listen to me, but I'd rather sell now. Re-buy at the floor, wait for it to go up a bit and sell for ever.
This thing is going straight to Yobit.

This is on stock bios, stock memory, stock core and only using intensity set at 2

At this current time it says I will earn 2.67 ZCL a day but a few hours ago was at 4.8 something ZCL, difficulty fluctuates.

I would say you would get between 150-160sol/s with R9 280's although can't confirm that since I don't mine with them.

The fastest miner currently available at this time is Claymores ZCASH Miner V7.0, it can be used for any coin that uses the Equihash mining algorithm.

For checking difficulty and profitability I like to use in combination:

Those statistics for hashrate are now outdated and irrelavant since Claymore has released V8.0 of the AMD ZCASH Miner, I get 210sol/s on a R9 280x with the latest miner, everything stock + stock bios, 15.12 AMD display drivers & intensity set at 2.

OK, just before I will enter again mining industry got another few questions:

1 What is hashrate with radeon nano card?
2 What is hasrate with gtx 970 card?
3 Cpu mining with Xenon ie v3 2630?
