t hubs mining proxy? Is it possible coinotron just has a shitty connection?

I moved away from coinotron for this very reason. to many error popped up even after build in stratum support in cudaminer.

ya i dropped it ages ago for same kinda reason.. even with stratumproxy and older cudaminer i had problems

Thanks, I will try it next payout.  Do you guys use the mining proxy? or just what cudaminer has built in?

Also, anyone know how to turn down the intensity?  Is it just he kernal config?

its adjusted by intensity 0/1 toggle..
that will make it use a bit less if you have only 1 gpu.

also from there you set up the config with the number x number settings

first time you run it, it will try and auto setup the config for you..
so you have to use  --no-autotune to make it use your specific setting
and when you first launch you can see some settings it tried out you can play with

check out the readme Wink

any ideas whether its worth me attemping with my 7900GTs or GTS 250s with this?

This account was hacked & possibly sold during the period of August 1st and October 24th 2017.
Anything done or said in this period wasnt me.
Many thanks to Cyrus for his help restoring access to my account.

7900GTs don't support CUDA

a GTS 250 will do, but don't expect stellar khash/s values.

What parameters are you running the program with?  It looks like your just launching it without anything.  You need to tell the program which miner pool you are using, etc...  Do you know how to create a .bat file?

You need to create a .bat file with something like this inside it and launch the .bat file instead of the .exe file.

cudaminer.exe -d 0 -i 1 -C 0 -o stratum+tcp://us3.wemineltc.com:3333 -O username:password

Yes, i had the same issue. Make sure you set it up, get on a pool, etc. You dont have to make a bat tho if you dont know how and i prefer short cuts anyways.  You can right click, create short cut to desktop, then right click the short cut, go to properties, and on the target, just type the command like stoneyshows above.

Btw, Thanks for the wemineltc pool suggestions, its night and day difference!

Also, anyone still trying to fix that stratum failed to parse error?  Would love a fix o.O, is it not that common? I would expect it to be fairly common..

i've been way busy and not looked into this and i also haven't had a freeze up in ages..

the dev popped by earlier but again kind brushed off 99.99% of anything i say.

to recap the build on page 1 may just freeze on you and the build i uploaded instead of that
will fire up a message box asking you to debug etc (depending on your OS config etc)
so i didn't fix the problem but at least my build will give ya a warning that, hey.. the piece of shit crashed and froze lol

and READ the README ..its worth it trust me
seems every who comments here is not doing that

Any chance this gets adapted for the Yacoin family, those scrypt coins with a higher N factor? AMD cards performance are taking a bigger hit with higher N than CPU. Would the performance gap between Nvidia and AMD cards also narrow?  Huh

it doesn't work? I was using multipool.us pretty well with it..which has variety of coins. I don't know the N factor of those coins off the top of my head..
