Can someone tell me what im doing wrong here. I have tried many diff codes all do the same, cuda opens then closes right back down like I have a wrong command or something.

cudaminer.exe --algo=keccak -C 2 -H 2 -l K1000x32 -L 264 -o stratum+tcp://max.rocketpool.co.uk:3333/ -O user:pass

running a gt640 on win 7

I can't connect to 1gh, anyone got it working?

Now I could connect there.

But can't (re)connect to any other pools.

On max.smalltimeminer.com after loads of yay's I started to get only boo's (maybe vardiff kicked in?) so I thought I try another cudaMiner build but I can't reconnect with any builds.

You are working for us too hard Christian. Take a day break and enjoy your birthday.
I will send my donation on your birthday as a gift Cheesy

Btw FYI, I just got 20 Max from mining with http://maxcoinpool.com. Cannot compare to 1gh pool but now it is the only pool that works for me.

Trying maxcoin now that cudaminer works in the pools - I suppose that the pools are being attacked with DDOS or something similar?
Would be pretty sweet if we could set up our own, private/ invite-only pools and keep them secret to avoid such attacks. Or am I getting something wrong? They are directed against single pools, right?

I got 2Ghs in total  Grin But the pool is very unstable now so I got a lot of disconnects.

Just curious, how is it that cudaminer can mine MAX and only utilize 10% of my GPU?

Wrong config?
What card do you have and how many MHS do you get?

Why does 1GH show MH/s totals for various addresses, how are these guys connecting or is this old data stuck in the cache?
Unable to connect to any stratum pools with Cudaminer now, don't suppose going back to solo mine is a great idea but seems waste letting the miners sit idle.
What do you all GPU mine whilst you wait for the Maxcoin pools? (Just interested).

If I could solomine on my AMD GPUs, I would. The pools are a mess and the coins aren't even coming in from ypool, even though before it went down i had something like 10 confirmed and 40-50 unconfirmed (and auto pay out was set to 5).

OK, this pool seems to work fine, accepting shares.

http://dwarfpool.com/max

I see it just started. It's the only one up that seems to play nice with cudaminer.
If anybody wants to join me there, let's hope we can bring the first block faster. Smiley

EDIT: Here are the pool stats for my address:

cudaminer-2014-02-07.zip [32+64bit version] (7.1 MB) with stratum fix for Maxcoin
...
Better grab the sourcecode from github, as the .zip file contains has Windows style line endings in all ASCII files which you would have to convert first.
Christian

Yes please github. Is the newest version up there already?
https://github.com/cbuchner1/CudaMiner/blob/master/README.txt still talks about version "February 6th 2014" while the cudaminer-2014-02-07.zip seems newer - but those stupid line endings... is it simply dos2unix *  Huh

Christian, thank you so much. This looks like one of the best organized project right now.
