The problem is I don't know how to define "high" N-factor. 10 is already high or from 13 ?? I got 500 khs for GTX 780 with T-config and N=9 (MRC). You think it is ok ?
trial and error I would say. It also depends on how much RAM there is on your card. For a 1 GB card the "high" N-factors start earlier than for 4GB cards. For MRC I get 500 also using -l T24x24 "high" would start around N-factor 12 I think. Christian Thanks for answering, Christian. I will test a few configs and report here. MRC is way too cheap since start. How much MRCs do you manage to get with 1Mhs, Christian ? UTC is more profitable, I assume ?

sitting on 28 million MRC right now, of which 5 were donated to me. I mined MRC with 3 Mhash/s if I am remembering correctly. I should have sold everything on the day I got or mined it, as the exchange rate went down badly. With UTC I had bad luck solo-mining and only found 2 blocks. I should have pool mined it. Christian

hmm just tried to run the cudaminer.sln file and get these warnings
M:\CUDAMINER\Building\CudaMiner-9-2-14\cudaminer.vcxproj : error : Unable to read the project file "cudaminer.vcxproj". still the same problem, but thanks for your help
If you have not got it working yet add "pause" without the quote under your scrypt. That will pause the screen and let you see what is wrong

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks

Please verify the CUDA Toolkit is installed properly or define the CudaToolkitDir property to resolve this error. i dont even have an E driver

Christian UTC diff triples the last few days so no wonder that you can't solomine anymore. 28 million MRC is equal .7 BTC. It will go up, Christian. I try to get my first million MRC now.

the Maxcoin-Qt wallet may suddenly and inexplicably stop syncing without telling me. Mine was 2 hours behind and I was wondering WHY I did not receive the last transaction that the pool showed under Debit_AP. This is the official windows wallet posted by the maxcoin developers.
Restarting Maxcoin-Qt fixed it. I believe one of the other altcoin wallets had this bug too, but it was fixed by the developers eventually.

yeah why is that? why do I have two workers accapting shares at 95% and one at 84%? And why does this stay so consistent when restarting cudaminer? Christian

I think the measurements right after submitting a share are somewhat off.
Monitor your GPU usage and power draw with gpu-z to confirm it is busy all the time at least.
the rejects are still valid hashes (the CPU has verified that they match the criteria). What difficulty does the worker currently show in the pool's web interface?

Christian I'm taking a wild guess but I have a feeling it has to do with something broken around fetching new work from servers. You always get a string right before a new block. It's almost as if cudaminer is slow to react to new server updates. Initially when it starts, it's got all fresh information and it does well until the blocks start updating. Unless this problem is fixed, it's getting to the point where maxcoin isn't profitable to mine anymore with prices in the 0.0015 range and still falling.

difficulty is 128 and checking gpu-z which luckily i had running there were large amounts of inactivity i dropped the -i 0 and checked my config from 1020 to 1024 dont have any usage drops now and im at 14/17 shares accepted

you guys can turn on stratum debugging to see whether the pool complains about stale work or whether it is share below target errors.
maybe my code forgets to check for "work restart" events ?
this is scrypt-jane.cpp:
} while ((n-throughput) < max_nonce && !work_restart[thr_id].restart);
this is maxcoin.cpp
} while ((n-throughput) < max_nonce && !work_restart[thr_id].restart);
nope. Looks the same.
Christian
