If every nation adopts cashless system, bitcoin will surely be the currency of the future days. The reason is that no other digital currency has got acceptance and popularity similar to bitcoin though lots of digital currencies have got existed.

There are so many choices out there. So why do you think that Bitcoin will be preferred by the governments as the cashless currency? Taking in to account the fact that it is a decentralized currency which can't be manipulated by the central banks, the chances that it will get the approval of the authorities is minimal.

It's still depend on a monetary authorities of every country because they're the one who study and implement any new currenciy. If the government allowed bitcoin to become a legal tender then its future will be promising. Then it will be followed by the mass adoption of bitcoin into mainstream, this mass adoption will lead in the creation of so called cashless society where the bitcoin is the leading currency in use.

I don't know if the bitcoin will be the future of the money, because technology is always in advance. 20 years ago no one could predict the eventual emergency of the current altcoin economy, so I think in 20 years undoubtedly will arise more advanced technologies that might eventually put aside these current altcoins. I think it just always as alternative currency online or locally if the adoption will be the same as brazil that has 150 store or more are accepting bitcoins locally.. but future money it can not be use as main currency because government dont accept it because fiat is already controlled by them
