Slushes pool says to direct my miner at a different URL and I am not sure how to do this.  And now we (newbies) can only post on this section i hope someone will actually see this posting.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I'm assuming you meant Guiminer.

Go to Other
1) Host: "Url"
2) Port: Probably 8332
3) Username and Password

Im not insinuating that people wont help im just saying that it sucks i cant post in the other parts of the forum.  Thats all i said.  i know you didnt make me only post in the "newby" section...
