Has anyone received a btc address for the August 31st orders?

The right question could be "Will anyone receive a btc address?".
And if you have read some of the past few pages the answer is:
YES you will eventually get it. As repeatedly said here before this address delay is typical for Canaan.

I was merely wondering if btc addresses have even begun being sent out.

I really dont understand why they dont automate this, its crazy to think that some dude is sitting there generating new btc address and update order tickets

lol  Grin No need for such a list. My order is #75834(from 13.08.2017) and I'm waiting for BTC address update(because the first has expired) since 28.08. Even before the last batch has been ready for sale.

Is it safe to assume orders will be processed in order (ie., according to order id, ascending) ?

my orders 90120. after that I wrote a letter  #92931. on my orders came the wrong account. another order #63498 (Huh??) was specified and another quantity (more than two times). given the numbers, the guys need to process at least 3000 letters and orders. how long is this time? difficult Vor.I know that everything will be fine and the "canaan" will do everything right

I do have a question guys....the PSU I'm using, a 1200w from HP, has 10 6 pin connectors.  Does it matter which of the 5 on each side I use....

Roughly how long will you guys think on receiving btc address for 31 Aug order......i have to order and yet to receive any response from support. I had an order for July and just cancel it off....how stupid of me after reading the problem they are facing. Thought they just ignore my July order or I have miss something.

Reality is they are still likely next units to go out even if Bitmain announced a batch tonight... I bet it could take 2 months to get through the Avalon backlog based on people in the 89300 range still not having a BTC address but very little info from Canaan on timing

An other news, got the miner I ordered on Aug 8th today. Hashing happily away here at home until I move it to the inspection room at work. That rather depends on how quiet it is set to -2 vs the undervolted/underclocked s7 I want to replace...

On the HP power connectors, if you are referring to the 2 sets of large gold connector pads it really does not matter if all power is drawn off of one set. The pcb power planes and pads can take it just fine but -- if easy to split the load across the 2 sets of pads go for it.

As compared to the s9/t9, ja noticeable improvement, mainly no annoying siren-effect caused by the fan blades being just a few mm away from a wall of small vertical heat sink fins. Still far from quiet at default speed but much more of a typical fast fan sound and whooshing. As I've commented before, amazing what paying attention to minimizing turbulent airflow can do to reduce noise and fan power needed. Do remember that these only use 1 fan vs 2 on the s9/t9.

My only issue if it takes 3-4 weeks to get a BTC payment address is that I am just sitting with $10k in Bitcoin that I plan to use for paying for the Avalon... If I weren't about to purchase the miners, I wouldn't be worried about short term fluctuations... but the reality is Bitcoin could take 30% the day that I need to make payment of ~$800/unit...

I'm in the same boat as you. It is extremely uncomfortable especially with what happened this weekend. I lost 2k but it is gradually going back up. Its just part of it lol.

Halo Platform is one of the fastest Blockchains I've seen yet. They have FREE transactions. 250 Millisecond Block speeds. Smart contracts, Masternodes, blockchain games, and their own high speed DEX with BTC/ETH/USDC pairs. Similar to ETH, Waves, EOS, and more yet with only $1 million mcap. This video showcases the speed and reliability of the blockchain using the DEX, Masternodes (that will soon payout in BTC and ETH), blockchain games, and more! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g74d3ixX7E8&feature=youtu.be

Yep. I was +$200ish and then BOOM -$600ish... Lesson learned.

If you don't have the BTC in your wallet, then don't speculate with funds you have planned for something else!

First hiccup for me....after running it for about an hour....my unit shut off....not sure if the PSU caused it or what....let it sit for about 30 min...turned the psu on again....and it fired back up....so for now keeping it off as I was just testing the units....any idea what might have caused in...I'm in the US, running it on 110V, set at 0.....

Default setting of 0 puts the miner at around 1,100w load as I recall. Make sure your PSU can supply at LEAST 1,200w when fed 110v. If using an HP 1200w supply that is only good for about 900w when fed 110v. The Avalon should run fine on on when set to -2 using it.

Dear Steven Mosher, next week I have birthday on 12.09. If you're reading this, I would be more than happy if there's a chance somehow to speed up my order #75834(ticket #76496), so I can receive the BTC address, send the payment, and eventually receive the miners for my birthday. It would be just like a birthday gift for me Smiley

btw
Did anyone received BTC payment address yet since the last batch has been sold out??
