We got a fun announcement for you guys...

We'll be adding support for DOGE sometime next week to YOLOdice, AND opening up the DOGE bankroll to investors!

How much is the min investment so we can prepare?
It's probably safe to assume it will be close to the same amount as minimum BTC invest (converted USD value).

Cool, can't wait Smiley

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

It would be the doge value of 0.005 bitcoin wouldn’t it?
I guess there will be a function to trade in doge too right so that is where the stats on the value will come from?

Right now minimum investment in btc is 0.001BTC.
0.001BTC = 6.46 USD
6.46 USD = 1641.29220000 DOGE
Maybe we can assume it between 2500 to 5000 Doge's.

I though minimum was 0.005. Although, I have to say I haven’t been on iy recently since its blocked by my isp along with VPN’s so I’d have to go to other people’s houses to check it...

But yes 50000 or 100000 sounds about right.

minimum investment is 0.001 BTC

to be honest I was hoping to see investments open for both LTC and ETH before adding new coins , personally I find more value holding LTC and ETH than holding DOGE so not sure why the owners decided to add DOGE and make it public for investors while still not opening LTC and ETH

still wondering as well why no investor based site added one of the top coins like NEO or ADA , while almost all of these sites have DOGE as an option

do we have some stats if people would prefer to gamble NEO for example ?

Litecoin is something I'd really have liked to invest with, I think it would really have been interesting to see it being invested.
I guess doge is quite good and lite and eth as your invesment increases over the time as the house edge goes up individually too. If you buy litecoin at 0.008BTC for example and invest it and then the value of litecoin goes up to 0.016BTC then your investment might have increased a bit too or if it drops, the multiplier is small enough to not affect it as much as it could have done...
The trading funciton on this site is also quite helpful but it'd be good if the rates were a bit nicer.

I was also waiting for the LTC and ETH invest option. Apparently admins have enough to provide nice bankroll. Also was mentioned this way they can offer more attractive rewards for wagering competitions.

Doge is very popular among gamblers. I think it's because almost anybody can gamble hundreds, thousands and more units ( not some 0.001 BTC, 0.1 LTC and similar )  .... it just looks nice to see such large numbers  Cheesy

About NEO invest. IMO it's actually better to hold them in your own wallet due to various airdrops and neogas ...  but option to gamble them would be great.
BTW, at crypto-games you can invest neogas (but wagering is minimal).

Sixteen Cents To Sixteen Hundred USD, Nice win  Smiley

0.00002500 BTC = 0.16 USD

0.24747500BTC = 1600.00 USD

snip

 Shocked 9900 x bet.
I think this is highest multiplier I've seen so far. Can you tell whether it was from faucet earning?
If so then it's pretty amazing and this guy is superlucky (or superhacker).

9900x hits aren't that special. I had days I had 10+ 9900x hits. If you roll enough you get it often, just once every 10k rolls on average.

How can it is not special? 9900x is very rare to see and you are saying like this is pretty easy to hit that multiplier. You should really give us proof that there is easy to hit it on 10k rolls. I tried most of the sites with 10k rolls and never it 9900x multiplier once, so you are saying that I am not lucky or your calculations is wrong here?

It is not special for him because he had hit it many times before, but it can be so special for those who have not hit it or for those who just hit it for the first time. Obviously you were so unlucky if you failed to hit it after so many attempts, I have hit it few times already so indeed I can say it is not that special for me. His calculation is not wrong IMO, it is just an average number. It is not a math, you may hit it or you may not hit it in every 10k rolls.

Yes it’s not too remarkable unless it was in the first 100 rolls ever on the site in which case it is quite remarkable.

A 1% house edge and a 9900x multiplier men’s you should win in 10k goes at least.

Maybe it is one of those things where you need to keep going to get the average.... 100k rolls at 9900x with 1 sat bets and see how close you get to the statistic? Smiley

Tried this before with 10k rolls but never have any good results with it, always end up losing every single penny on it. The calculations will be right, I am no doubt of it but in the gameplay, this is not always like this. You can even spend a lot before you are going to hit it. So I do not really recommend it to bet it with your whole bankroll, unless you have some unused money to be played at. The risk and the result is something that you can't bear

Let us assume that it is 100k bets with 1 satoshi, that means you spend up 0.001 btc with only getting 9900 satoshi as the result? Let say you hit 5 times and you will only get 49,500 satoshi and you still on loss overall

Anyway congrats for the doge addition, I am sure many of gamblers will like to see big numbers coming up, although it is not that huge on their price but big numbers always good Grin

They certainly are special and you can tell that much if you ever tried hunting for one. It doesn't turn up that frequent and the guy above was indeed super lucky. Maybe you can hit a few and show to us how easy it gets with you?

Looking forward to see Doge come on board, it makes a more discrete sense!

I can tell you a rumor that LTC investments will open shortly after launching DOGE. Maybe a week after. But it's unofficial.

Cheers,

DOGE is much affordable for even the smallest investor, beginner; good for gaining mass appeal, i suppose?!

The transaction fees are also quite a bit nicer than those of bitcoin. From what I remember, it used to be less than a while doge

Indeed another laudable milestone accomplished! I see minimum bet stays same across all your supported coins, that would appeal to lot more players. Exchanging Dogecoin to other coins is not integrated yet, do you have that in the pipeline?

Err...  Didn't you say a while back in this thread your ISP blocks YOLOdice?  The site is working just fine right now, so I have no idea.  It could be a VPN issue too, you might try sending an email to support@yolodice.com and having Ethan take a look at your account.
