May I ask what is the purpose of zero satoshi bets?

About the progressive jackpot - I think it would be cool if you have multiple progressive jackpots versions designed and allow players to choose what variant they want to use.
It would be absolutely amazing feature to have, that level of customization would be truly next level!

Zero-satoshi bets - players use them to try rolling, learning how things work. Actually my thinking is: when I am on a new site and want to see how it works even without going through the faucet, I try rolling instantly. One thing that discourages me is an instant error: "Amount too small".
Some people roll these bets.

Cheers,
Ethan

Players also uses zero-bets to get a big red streak before they get betting real money. If it works, I dont know but they do it.

That's what I have seen too. Some claim it works for them. Some play really small bets, like a few satoshis for that purpose too, but zero-bets have a huge advantage: they are free :-)

Cheers,
Ethan

They are useful to see what next roll would be after long loss streak because they are using provably fair system.  Smiley
For the jackpot there are many cool variants that you can implement, time based mystery jackpots, progressive jackpots which are won when they reach certain amount, roll jackpot number etc. All of them are cool and reduce house edge.

I think monthly stats aren't needed unless there is any monthly wager contest or something like that is active.

the monthly wagered amount is useful and i can even say nessasary since you guys are accepting investors.

and YOLODice actually has something similar, unless i am mistaken it is in this tab: https://yolodice.com/#stats/investor
it has a very nice chart which is showing the stats for the investors. if you mouse over the chart it shows each day's data on top right of the chart.
at the bottom chart it is "Wagered BTC" and on top left it shows in numbers with short form "W"
for example 2017-4-9 was 12.652...BTC

Never thought of using the zero bets to even out the playing field this way.
I usually do it by mistake with forgetting to enter in a value in the wager field. Cheesy
Good to know it is actually a useful thing to do from now on will be using it. Wink

It's not useful, it doesn't make any difference in your rolls.  It doesn't matter if you wager BTC or wager 0, the outcome is the same.

I am not confident enough to keep on rolling when i am not present in front of the screen while rolling because i had my bitter experience in the past where i kept on rolling with a bot and slept off and i did loose a fortune at that time and it has happened a couple of times recently and how on earth do they earn the profits by rolling all the time.
Don't these bots have a way to set a maximum number of bets or a target number of wins/losses? You're the first person that I know of that fell asleep while betting money. For most people it makes the heart beat faster. Cheesy

There is a new Wagering competition with 0.5 BTC prize pool, check it out: https://yolodice.com/#bonus

Good luck,
Ethan
Seem quite interesting but i am eagerly waiting for twitter giveaway https://twitter.com/yolodicegame
when you guys will reach 500 followers  Wink

I hope this will become a monthly thing - next month a giveaway for 1000 followers Cool

About the progressive jackpot - I think it would be cool if you have multiple progressive jackpots versions designed and allow players to choose what variant they want to use.

Some people roll these bets.

For the jackpot - I am thinking something bitsler-style:
- have a jackpot, let's say 1 BTC for start
- you need to hit a certain number, e.g. 777,777 (it's 1/1,000,000 chance)
- how much you win depends on the amount of your bet. bitsler has it: % = 100*amount / 0.005, which means you can get 100% of the jackpot if your bet amount is 0.005 or larger. if it's smaller, you just get a bit of it.

I've looked at some other jackpot systems, this one looks best to me. I might tune some parameters, e.g. change the win chance, change win %. Especially for the "launch promo", the numbers could be more in favor of players.

I am open to other ideas too, I hope it will be fun :-)

Cheers,
Ethan

Did you see my post about a system like NitrogenSports' system?

I'm not a huge fan of systems similar to Bitsler as it doesn't really add anything for the gambler in terms of entertainment. There isn't any suspense, and it's more of a "hey, I hit jackpot while betting" in their heads vs "(at 11 sevens or whatever in a row) come on... Come on, just one more bet... *Places bet* OMG I JUST WON!"

I think adjusting it a bit so it takes the average of the last bets that you used to hit it and pay a proportion the jackpot out of it's a lot amount.

Always give praise to your website, I know it a very long time, and I have never encountered any errors Smiley it is really stable and a good place for us to take Family and entertainment. Although your site is well known, however, that number is still a small number. I think you should open more ad campaigns for your site.

Found your review quite interesting and looks like you have covered almost everything about yolo.

However why you have included this in CONS  Huh Yolo don't have any slot games so limited number of slot games doesn't make any sense

Limited number of slot games.

Nice review maybe they can add it to the front of the Ann ?

No yolodice doesn't have many slots but they will add more. The slots are just a bonus since it's really just about dice. Albeit it had dice in the name.  Tongue

Wonder what other reviews have to say ?

lol, signature spammer advertising yolodice hasn't even been on the site, yet is posting on their thread  Tongue

They don't have any slots - it's just Dice on YoloDICE. I think it's quite unlikely that slots will be added soon, as it take a lot of dev time to make good quality slots and it seems like Ethan wants to work on improving dice right now.

Is there a way to see when you added your investment? Have a 0.1BTC investment right now with some decent profit and I'd like to know the timeframe.
