Don't worry it wasn't during classes! Just tried to log in at school computers at lunch ^^

Anyway it didn't work but it doesn't really matter, was just to know if it was specific to school or linked to something else.
Seems like school IT are preventing us from betting during our free time :3

School computers can have tons of strange firewall/bullshit soft installed... Network can be restricted too - maybe that's why. I've seen really strange things and most network issues we had with other projects were caused by 1. network config withing corporations, 2. network configs at schools/colleges/universities :-)

BTW: our bankroll is now over 200 BTC thanks to recent investment(s), max profit per bet is almost 2.4 BTC.

Is the 2.4BTC wager+profit or only the profit?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

@1982dre, xax profit per bet is what a single bet can win. It's now a bit lower, at 1.8 BTC, but still.

Referral pool to be paid this week is ~ 1.8 BTC
(unless someone kills site profit till Sunday)

You know, if nothing changes, this is probably the best referral program you can find! :-)

The referral program works like this: we dedicate 10% of site profit to the referral payout pool. It's our whole commission. Now every participant gets a share in the pool, proportional to the wagered amounts of his/her referrals. The more your referrals play, the more you get from the pool. We pay on Sundays.

So if you can get referrals and get them play, you can get a significant share in the pool.

The referral program is here: https://yolodice.com/#referrals

Good luck!

Hello!
ethan_nx, I have a proposition: why not to remove the zero amount bets? I just accidentally rolled zero and that bet win, but I was really waiting for that win, I just missed to place a bet to cover my previous loses...
So, what is the sense of zero bets? You can always bet 1 satoshi if you wanna skip according to your gambling strategy. IMHO, zero bets does more harm than profit.
Thanks for any answer.

Well even if the revenue from the referal pool can vary, for this week it's a freaking high one xD
I regret not having invested more time in getting referrals there damn...

Thanks for the comment! "Zero" bets let you try the system risking nothing. As you say, idle bets are part of some strategies, I have no reason to forbid such bets. There is a small "punishment" - zero-bets have some delay introduced server-side.

I think it's not too late. Sometimes one referral that plays high can bring more bonus than dozens of other. Good luck!

Many newbie gamblers think that if site is 'fair' they they should win more than they are losing. I don't think Yolodice will be better than other Provably Fair and good Dice sites in this regard.

But so far site is looking really good, and I am pleasantly surprised with account security options available, some of them are pretty amazing (like login with your main bitcoin address).

I have never seen before a gambling site that has so much statistics. So usefull. Quick switch between tabs and site is as simple as it should be.  If u get bored(doubt it), u can use chat for meet new people who likes gambling.

Also i loved the colours. Black&White. Like life, like gambling. Win or Lost.

Multiple accounts are okay as far as I know as long as faucet isn't abused I think. I (and multiple players) have one or more extra accounts too. It's no problem.

This is true most gambling sites doesnt really prohibit on having multiple accounts unless if you are abusing the system or making shady activities. As sir Boxxob said it wont be a problem and it just fine to create another account.

UPDATE: Account history got a redesign, you can now see the history of tips, both sent and received.

As I stated somewhere earlier, I am working on instant deposit. Things look good and I think we can safely accept smaller deposits without waiting for inclusion in blockchain. I will keep you updated!

ethan_nx
Thanks for the answer.

By the way, I've noticed a strange issue: sometimes, when I try to claim free coins from faucet, I got an error "Too much requests". I wait a few sec and try again — usually it works fine then. It seems to me, that server can't process such many operations in one time. Should not be a big problem for now, but when you'll get really big audience of players, it may become worse.
Just thought it may be a helpful information.

I'm really glad, that site became profitable. I wish it remains the same way.

Thanks, you are right! Although the error is not about the server not being able to process a request, but rather a client (or an IP) issuing too many requests, there was a bug in our server code. So indeed, this mechanism was broken and in some cases you would get an error like this. I suspected this a while ago, but your post made me look again at the code and I found the bug.

It is fixed now, so thanks again for posting this! Cheers!

One question about the referral thing. If the one who referred players doesn't really play or participate in anything there, does he or she still gets that kind of treatment? Besides, we just want them to play right?

The website is finely made with just black and white which helps me to easily read the numbers.

The person that refers does need to play at all. In order to join the referral progam you just need to refer people, that's all. Note that payouts will be sent to your YD account, so you need to log in from time to time.

I tried to play with faucet money and here is message I got:  "Sorry, the faucet is empty. We just need to refill it. Come back later!"

I am sorry you found it empty. Unfortunately the faucet gets empty pretty fast, looks like a lot of people start living off it :-/ We might limit the faucet a bit more and instead spend the money on giveways and other actions that actually increase engagement.

Cheers!
