I am still considering adding altcoins, it's actually on my mind right now :-)

Might i suggest considering monero if you are thinking of what alt coin to add? Smiley

I was actually thinking about LTC and ETH for now. These seem to be the coins with higherst daily trading volume and most stable at the same time.

Still, adding extra coins would require quite a large redesign of YD, this is not a quick task and I'd like to think it over. Since we have limited manpower, maybe other YD features would bring more benefits.

Cheers,
Ethan

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Well with announcement like this one with Litecoin:
https://twitter.com/bitstamp/status/875394226384769024

and this one:
https://twitter.com/SatoshiLite/status/873343321296429056

It does look promising for litecoin as a solid choice to chose from now with it having lower fees and faster transactions coming.

Then again,
You have this argument with using monero:
Hello friends,

How think if I start Gambling site use only Monero.. is this good idea or not?

Thanks.

That's actually a very good idea, because some people want more privacy than Bitcoin or other altcoins can offer, so by creating Monero casino you can fill that spot in the market. From technical standpoint there shouldn't be much differences between Bitcoin and Monero casino site. You can also expand your currency options to Dash and Zcash as they are also anonymous, so you can offer your players more options in the same field.
Maybe try seeing about offering both as opposed to using bitcoin.

You can also add ETC along with ETH because it is still cheaper and we don't loss much in tx fees also if you find it quite complex to set up setting for every new alt, why don't you consider using shapeshift api that allows you to accept any alts they support and get those quickly converted into LTC or ETH to save on btc fees they have.

Adding any altcoins is a complex job for admin as it will take extra hours of maintenance for bug fixes each day. However, it is good for the site as more coins means more options as well as more players too.

It's true. It's a complex thing, but hey, it's not impossible!

Nice competition but 10k satoshi feels too high for me. I won't be able to keep hunting the lowest numbers till the end of the competition. Will try with 500k satoshi only. Whatever the result (lucky or not) I will stop hunting when all those 500k already gone!

Btw good luck to everyone!

It's to good to see Yolodice running again another contest. The contest is good to attract players more players. I will try to roll the lowest possible roll and make it to the top 10. Good luck to all participants.

How did that user reach level 4 with no bets at all?

BtW, nice competition you have there, and the Prize is worth risking a few sats. Cheesy

You don't have to "hunt" the low numbers, you can just play as you usually do.  The only thing that matters is the roll result, your bets will count regardless of win % or win/loss.  Even lost bets still count.  10k sats really isn't that high.

Is this same as last time hunt? Everyone can hit as many as they can right? And about the prize? 0.1 for 10 people or 0.1 for each people? It just said that it is up to 0.1 btc but it does not have any statement how much could each person can win here. And is there any minimum odds that we can use?

Btw this competition is really great thing that will attract more people

if you read the thread it is clearly written that you can use any chance you want and both wins and losses count too.

Each person will win 0.1btc from their standings in the rankings.
So if your name shows up twice then you will get 0.1x2=0.2btc as your prize winnings during this competition.

I have seen a user called dogebettor or something like this have places 1 and 2 for a while since it started.
He has the lowest number at 5 rolled so he is still at 1st place while he lost 2nd place to someone who rolled a number lower than his.
Mind you.. the competition is over when someone gets a 0 which is not easy at all to get.
