Shocked & Disgusted.

His big mouth will not help an already strained relations with earth.
If any of you expect things to improve in any way with Drumpf you are in for a big surprise.

I officially lost what ever shred of respect i had for American after this.
Bush twice was the breaking point.. now this ?

Sorry USA but i wash my hands of you guys.. i am done.

What did he say about Canada's trade agreement ? LOL
At least i can be happy he can't support anti-piracy though because he got caught pirating music 5 times during his campaign  Cheesy

He was elected on the idea he was the common man with plans.
He has no plans and muttered shit just like Hitler did.. hollow aggressive rabble to placate the retards.
When asked in an interview how he plans to achieve his goals he said.. and i quote..
"Trust me, we will get it done"
And based on that and other racist gems from his dick-holster the common-man (millionaire) was elected leader for the worlds 2nd largest economy (behind China)

Notice the markets dropped like a rock after that moron won ?
Look outside the US plague bubble for a reality check Americans.

Good luck.. when your country burns i wouldn't piss on you guys.
I am done with you idiots.

As far as i am concerned you should have chosen the lesser evil.. it's called common sense.
Now i have no choice but to consider the Word American to be Canadian for Moron.

Wanna fuck with Canada Trumpsy ?
Enjoy our exports much ? Tech, water, wood, electricity, oil, gas.........
What was that now about an "agreement" ?
Maybe pay your lumber bills on time as negotiated ?
Note the US was notorious for fucking us around on trade deals with lumber.

Enjoy having your country run by an idiot with ZERO political experience morons.

He was the lesser of two evils. Stick to your own shithole countries' politics, all you ever do on this forum is cock your head back, mouth open, and spout total shit. Nobody gives a fuck. Shut your fucking mouth.

Disclosure: I'm not a Hillary fan.

In the news: The border between Canada and the US is experiencing a major, major logjam as US citizens are exiting the States while wannabe Canadian comedians are trying to enter upon realizing that there's a wealth of material now and subsequently available to broaden their schtick catering to a US audience, given they've met their match in trying to continue the learning curve so to make funny of Canada's well-versed PM, leaving only a small handful of Carlinesque comedians behind able to make sense of it all.

Trump has split the society in America into two parts. I'm afraid that the Americans will pay dearly for this choice. It is a pity that such errors will have to pay all and not just those who voted for Trump

I'm not a fan of either candidate (or the fact that there's generally only two candidates portrayed when they aren't the only ones), but I can't see how one person is to blame for the apparent divisions in US politics.  I was just watching Stephen Colbert trying to console America and he referenced these two statistics from articles back in June:

The sense that America is more divided than it used to be is backed by hard data. There’s been a sharp spike in the contempt that partisans express for their opponents, according to Pew Research Center polling.  More than 4 in 10 Democrats and Republicans say the other party’s policies are so misguided that they pose a threat to the nation.
and
More than half of Democrats (55%) say the Republican Party makes them “afraid,” while 49% of Republicans say the same about the Democratic Party.

The first thought that came to mind was that it sounded quite a lot like the Bitcoin scaling debate ( Grin ), but mostly that people just generally seem more sectarian than they used to be.  Borderline tribal.  I don't know if it's to do with media influence, the way we interact on the internet, or perhaps just changes in our attention spans and levels of patience.  People used to hastily clamber in search of common ground, but now they can't wait to flee from it in favour of digging their heels in and staunchly supporting more partisan ideologies.  Maybe everyone just wants an excuse to segregate, draw the battle lines and hate each other for it.  Human nature sucks.

I wonder if it'd help for California to secede, as some people are now advocating. I think that a large portion of Democrats are located in California, so there'd be a lot fewer Democrats who would have to worry about Republican policies, and vice-versa.

how did you embed the video? it doesn't work when i try and do it.

Why did either candidate make it to the last two? One, a real estate mogul billionaire with no government experience. The other, a traitor to the country and a pathological liar saying whatever and anything it takes to sway popularity.
Trump was nowhere near a president the US wanted nor expected, but a capitalist businessman vs. a traitor running for the country became a no brainer.

I notice a lot of foreigners commenting and they just don't get it and don't get why.
People here are FUCKING SICK of the Obama terms doing nothing but say one thing, do another. Furthering problems and lying, allowing terrorism, and being a bunch of soft pussies against today's issues.

Everyone failed to mention, Bernie Sanders would have won if Clinton didn't manipulate the media, control an email scandal to use power to shut out Bernie. Simply, Bernie Sanders supporters just said "FUCK YOU" to the controlled establishment just for spite. The election was thrown for Trump to spite that lying, traitorous cunt. If you can't see that and didn't know that, maybe you shouldn't talk politics because you don't know whats even going on in this country here. Nothing to do with Trump. Everything to do with fuck Hillary and her intent to lie her way to office and then further our problems, war, and special interests. If we could have had better, we would have flushed out the entire government. Throw them all the fuck out. That's too drastic. This is drastic enough.

It's far worse than you people are discussing. Psychopaths Republicans won the presidency, the house and the senate. During Donald Ducks presidency he will appoint a majority rule to the Supreme Court because of open seats and aging magistrates. This will give the "oh fuck me" I mean "GOP" complete control of every branch of government. This is an almost unprecedented control of the United States by nigger/beaner hating white christian lunatics.

Absolutely right, no one voted for Trump except a bunch of looney rednecks in the heartland but everyone voted against Clinton. Trump was just the one left standing. The perfect example why the "first past the post" two party system doesn't work.

Then I'd feel sorry for Democrats living elsewhere in the states, since they'd be practically guaranteed a Republican president every election.  Although I suppose you'd have to rejigger the electoral college a bit to compensate for the shift in population.  Might balance itself out.  Being a Brit who's only visited California once, I can't really say with any authority how probable a secession is.  I did, however, spend a few years living in Canada and can't help but notice Quebec haven't buggered off yet, despite years of numerous threats along those lines.

Probably the Democratic party in the US would change its platform to have more chance of winning. Existing Democrats wouldn't be happy about this, but maybe some of them could move to the California Republic.

I can't really say with any authority how probable a secession is.

Not very likely, but in many ways it'd be political advantageous for the Republicans who are now in power. But there'd be huge practical consequences, and I doubt there's enough political will in California for it.

I've been a staunch advocate of this for some time.  That is, a logical break-up of the country.  My basic rationale is that many of our problems stem from being a 'superpower' and feeling somehow like it makes us need to spend our energies bombing people in other parts of the world, but there are perfectly valid domestic socio-political problems which could also be addressed by breaking up as well.

When I put on my mischievous hat, I would argue for a policy of giving Fed dollars to the state of California (and a few others) that they may continue the policy of importing welfare types.  This may draw such folks out of other states (or they may just continue to tap foreign nations to satisfy their utterly bizarre hungers here.)  Anyway, at some opportune time go ahead and cleave them off.  Or have them cleave us off if that's what they prefer to call it...same diff.

I do hope that trump will bring the economic changes that the US deserves. I would have preferred a libertarian candidate though.

Absolutely agreed. I think that the people of the US would be much better-off overall if the US was dissolved and all of the states became independent. A lot of people's first reaction to that is that US states aren't self-sufficient, but that's the case with many countries -- that's what trade is for. I think it'd work out fine.

A willing complete dissolution of the US is very unlikely to actually happen anytime soon, though. I think that the secession of a handful of states (California, maybe Texas, maybe some of the east coast after California secedes) is at least somewhat plausible, and some improvement.

I do hope that trump will bring the economic changes that the US deserves. I would have preferred a libertarian candidate though.

I was very disappointed in Gary Johnson this campaign. He was ineffective in working toward winning, many of his policies were non-libertarian, and he largely failed to spread libertarian ideas. I'm absolutely not a Trump fan, but Gary Johnson often looked like a Hillary shill.

This is especially disappointing because I think that Johnson did have quite a good campaign in 2012.

Disclaimer: I am an anarchist. (anarchy = no rulers, anarchy != no rules or chaos or aggression) I don't think people need rulers in order to get along and accomplish things. But hey, that's just like, my opinion.

That said, since we have a government and governments tend to do things regardless of what I do or do not want, I don't have much of a problem with a government focusing on the things in this contract.

https://www.scribd.com/document/328525555/Donald-J-Trump-Contract-for-the-American-Voter#from_embed

We will see if Trump abides by it or not.

For the people who complain that Trump doesn't have any experience in politics, etc., to that I say, "Thank God!" The politicians are the fucking problem and the fact that almost ALL of them were anti-Trump is a real eye-opener for someone like me.

For the people who say Trump is a fool... well that fool just won the biggest political upset in the history of the US against someone who has basically prepared for this her entire life and had the backing of the political establishment, the media, the banks, wall street, Hollywood, etc. So... I guess Trump the Fool just stumbled his way into the presidency.

Now, I'll just silently hope he isn't secretly part of the establishment and this was all a show.

My personal feeling is:

I don't particularly like Trump, and I voted for neither him nor Clinton. Trump has expressed several good policies, but also some terrible/evil policies. And my overall feeling is that he doesn't actually have much ideology, so I don't trust anything he says anyway. But I can't stand Clinton, who is nearly the worst possible candidate, so I'm happy about this surprising result, and I can't help but be a bit optimistic even though there's a high probability that Trump will not actually be an improvement on net.

Bitcoin-wise, I think that Trump might be a bit better than Clinton, but it's difficult to say.

Interestingly, this is the first time since the 1920s that the Republicans have held the presidency, the House, and the Senate. Let's see what they've got.
Basically Trump mania swept the entire elections and has broken many predictions and expectations,Trump as a candidate used to speak from his heart rather a pre planed script where as Clinton had an agenda in all of her actions,Common people does not understand why the country is spending so much money abroad when they cant live a good life ,to live the American dream it is quite difficult at the moment and Clinton as a president is not bright for America as she will continue the same old process and that is why the people wanted some change in all the policies and the lies,so is the reason Trump won even with all the medias cooked up stories about Trumps possibilities to be the president .

I think we can trust in social media: they said that Brexit won't happen and that Hillary will win elections. And after their wrong predictions many people feels shocked. Maybe that media was against Trump helped him a bit.
First speech of Trump as president of USA was inspiring and absolute opposite than he talked on election campaign. He don't want to send Hillary to jail anymore or build wall by Mexico. Such aggressive campaign helped him to get votes from people who are against system.
I think he will not able to make unpredictable things, senate and congress will not allow to do it. I'm afraid that he will try destroy good decisions which Obama did.
Europe will have to start respect Trump if they want relations with USA. Trump may want to sanctions to Russia and it wouldn't be good for Europe.
