Poker has an issue with collusion making it a money laundering issue. Hence no one will legally touch decentralised poker unless thats solved.

Funfair.io is specifically focusing on casino games until they come up with a solution. They wont touch Poker due to legality and collusion in the mean time.  Pokereum will have legal troubles if they release and can't demonstrate collusion is not possible.

Are there any other projects for poker? What does decentral poker exactly mean?

Decentralised poker means you control your funds, operators dont require deposits and the entire gaming process is vaildated on the blockchain. For it to run fast it requires off chain scaling whihc fate channels accomplishes with transparent verifiable proof of fairplay. Peer to peer connects hubs of players with operators.

As for issues with collusion in poker... I don't see a problem... If there are 1000's of players and hundreds of tables, trying to organise predictable collusion opportunities when table allocation is provably random would be impossible.

This is false.

All it takes is 2 players and/or bots at one table colluding to give themselves a massive edge...
Pretending collusion is not a problem is either very naive or very dishonest...
90% of play these days is tourneys anyway which are collusion-resistant...
Why people insist on replicating cash table games in p2p poker is beyond me.

I have been following this project since last year, ICO is scheduled to be here in 3 months! Is this date confirmed and definitive? What are the expectations? Vitalik supports this project, right? I thought there would be more FOMO.

What if there is an announcement tomorrow that will make you love the team and project more that you'd even want to support the team more, will it still be a scam?

LOL  Cheesy Good luck to everyone waiting for this "announcement" !
Announcement of what exactly? Confirmation of a scam?  Wink

I presume this is your twitter account twitter.com/justcharz ?
So you are a part of the Dev team and should know some details about the project status. Yet you give us no information whatsoever.

We just released our poker demo. Read updates here https://blog.superdao.io/sup-supercharged-with-pokereum-demo-other-dapp-rewards-new-pre-sale-only-funding-round-74a8cc3bbe3c and here https://blog.superdao.io/pokereum-decentralized-poker-demo-ux-feedback-before-mental-poker-release-sup-bonus-incentive-829ff4162782

Summary: Our #Ethereum Decentralized Poker Application 'pokereum' demo has been released(demo.pokereum.io). You get free SUP tokens on your already exiting SUP tokens for testing and giving feedback on our pokereum client. We are also running a pre-ICO only fundraising campaign on our remaining 3million pre-ICO tokens which is still at a 40% discount. The 45%(45million) tokens slated for crowdsales will now be mined based on staking SUPerneum token (for those that would get in the pre-sales). With the SUPerneum token, you also get to earn from our other DApps as well (Media Torrent dapp currently in development). More info can be gotten from the links posted up there.

Tourneys are not collusion resistant. Players stake other players and will play differently with them when they are at the same table. That's basically colluding.

What is sure is that this project is super well bad managed !!!!
Scam or not it is just a joke, pre-ico only at 40% discount, we feel way better now you said that, our bonus becomes irrelevant.
Let just stay that you have no clue how to create momentum and having good marketing.
If I had knew this project would take so long I would not have invested a penny. Thiefs and/or incompetents, that's what you guys seem like.
I'll come back later to check the development (In 4 weeks since a launch is on the roadmap)

Hello whynotbit, your discount and bonus are not irrelevant as your contribution has taken us this far and we appreciate it. we want to cut-down the time on marketing an ICO alongside all other distractions and remain focus on development of our two dapps and the organisation's code itself which we are vigorously pursuing and putting systems in place for continuous communication to our community/backers. With your discounted promissory token, only current holders of SUP tokens acquired through pre-sale will be able to mine our remaining 45million tokens originally intended for ICO using their Superneum ( SUP ) as a staking mechanism. You also get increased utility of SUP within multiple Dapps, multiple rewards from multiple Dapps and extra token allocation as an early participator. Finally, you can double your current token holding by participating in our bounty which we are putting finishing touch to. These are the ways we are using to reward our early backers and for being patient with us. More information on the second dapp we are working on coming soon but that does not mean we've abandoned Pokereum dapp as other projects in the same space with us are not focused on issues we trying to solve with Mental Poker and the rest.

Our roadmap is still in focus as we begin the new year and work on our communication lapses.

So what is the current situation with SUP promissory tokens?
I am sure all early supporters are interested in this project's progress and would like to know the answer to the following questions:

1. When can we start collecting SUP bounties?

2. When do we receive actual SUP tokens?

3. Is the expected exchange listing date Feb 28 2018 still in order?

4. When is the expected release date of your Dapps and Pokereum?

The communication from SuperDAO team is really scarce. The info from the devs comes once a month at best  Undecided

Hi Browndog785,

We appreciate your faith as an early backer of our project and we ain't gonna disappoint that faith to deliver.

1. When can we start collecting SUP bounties?
We are currently working on SUP bounties claim page and will soon release update on it to the community when we are done alongside other announcements.

2. When do we receive actual SUP tokens?
When we have release one of our dApps and that will be around march.

3. Is the expected exchange listing date Feb 28 2018 still in order?
We are working towards it. We hope to meet our roadmap targets.

4. When is the expected release date of your Dapps and Pokereum?
Currently, we are working on the feedbacks gotten so far from the pokereum demo-release review (demo.pokereum.io) and also working on some other integrations like Whisper(peer-to-peer communication over the blockchain), shadow poker engine(Mental poker solution). Our torrent media dapp will soon be demo-release too as the dev teams for the dapp are also working on it alongside the whitepaper release for public view. Reason for keeping our other dapp dark is to avoid a repeat of what happened during the early stage of our Pokereum development (plagiarism and idea-theft).

The communication from SuperDAO team is really scarce. The info from the devs comes once a month at best.
We working on this and finalizing with a PR firm to help out. Announcement to be made soon. Partnerships, Site redevelopment and security, sales of remaining promissory tokens, DAO smart-contract still going on behind the scene to help us meet our targets so efforts are geared towards marketing mostly.

Hi justcharlz,
I thank you for all those answers to me and to others who have been worrying about the outcomes of this investment and project.
I like all that you are saying and find it promising, I acknowledge the fact that this is lot of work and time spent on communicating is not directly profitable as to the project itself.
I also apologize for the terms I have used in 2 of my messages. The goal was to point out that communication is paramount, and until now you guys have not been really good at it (which does not mean you are incompetent on the programing part for sure)
Though marketing and communication will in the end still be quite important, and if you guys are not enought for that well that's where the bounties and the community comes handy.
I would personnaly play the game and try to promote in a reasonable manner this project as long as I have the ammos for it (not tokens but real dev infos, upgrades and roadmap checks)
I looked for the bounty program and still quite don't understand what it is used for. I never used metamask so I will begin by this, but it might be cool to give some more precise informations. I guess the "claim page" will be what I am asking.
Anyway quite surprised to have had such a complete answer from you, and hoping it will continue this way.
The more we communicate here the more infos for everybody to read and have access to.
good luck to you all
