I am a huge fan of Vertcoin since the beginning, it is refreshing and it has gained value in the last couple of weeks, 2k18 will be the year that Vertcoin beats Litecoin and will be of high value.
Agreed. VTC and MONA are my favourite alts for 2018

ETH, Waves, XMR, XRP, ETC and DGB seems to be the best coin to invest right now as in next couple of months we may see major growth in its price so if your portfolio consists of this coins then you are gonna enjoy good profits later on.

May add some neo and omg! Edit : Dgb for long term is acceptable if you invest for now imo.

It makes sense not to connect investments to a single coin. I need to split at least 5 baskets. Cardano, Chainlink, ETH, BTC, and 0X.

i would saz ethereum or litecoin as relatively "safe" investments and if there should be a bit more risk then i would buy Stellar Lumens NEO and NEM. But remember: it's always your own decision. Do some research and the decide carefully

For me the best Altcoin to invest today upto 2018 next year are the hard forks, they are tend to have a good role for Bitcoin's value. Like the first hard fork last August, Bitcoin Cash has maintained it's value upto date. But try to check top Altcoins like Ethereum, Waves, Lite Coin etc. They are promising coins that has possible future and could be the next Bitcoin.

There are many out there.. what I personally like are Ethereum and most of my beds are on it. It offers, in my opinon, the biggest potential due to the development of so many decentralized apps, and the adoption of so many developers that decided to use Ethereum over everything else. Other good thing about Ethereum, is that it's driven by a few developers, which can be both good or bad - but considering the developers that are on this specific project, I'd say it's good. It means the platform is more centralized, but that also means that updates are easier to implement and the overal efficiency of the platform will be greatly enhanced (in relation to BTC) because it's easier to manager this entire mayhem (when compared to BTC).

I think you can choose some "old" altcoins such as ETH, LTC, Ripple, NEO,... or you can choose new potential tokens from the ICOs such as Playkey. You can access this link to get more information: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2073668.0

I'm still loyal to invest in ETH and Ripple. Interested in both altcoins after reading an article about altcoins that still exist in the future. And conclusion that i get is, these two alt's very logical to survive and even more valuable than today.

99.9% of altcoins have no reason for existing beyond pump and dump speculation. Bitcoin would be your best bet.
Some of the altcoins such as Ethereum, Monero have actually proven that they are quite undervalued and have a lot of potential. So it would be false to say that altcoins have no reason for existing. According to me, other than Bitcoin, Monero is the most preferable market coin. With a market capital of 3 billion dollars, it has the potential to cross the mark of $300 per annum within two to three months. Also, being completely anonymous makes it a good altcoin in the market.
