Well basically, speaking fast doesn't mean that a boy is confident and high self-esteem this goes the same with speaking slow, it doesn't mean that one has low self-esteem and confidence. You just need to be in the neutral side of speaking, this may sound cliche but BE YOURSELF just speak in your normal tempo, let the girl know you're relaxed and confident when you're with her. Girls are interested to boys who show their true selves and not pretenders.
