Recently, we could see a lot demonstrations because of relationship between white policeman and black man.
However, when we compare America with some other countries, like Syria, Iraq, Somalia etc, there is no so much violence in the states.
Democracy is not perfect but it works.
Maybe some people can't accept Trump as president now but he will be accepted during time.
Don't judge your country to much. In many other countries situation is much worse.

The United States was not meant to operate by democracy. It was meant to operate by freedom.

Democracy is when a slightly greater majority rules over a slightly smaller minority.

Lets not forget Iraq who turned to the Euro for oil deals, 1 week later their country was in ruins and they were back on the good ole USD. Contrary to popular belief, Iraq wasn't a push over country and had a good military.

Middle East and Africa are exceptions. The high level of violence prevailing there can be attributed to the extremely low level of intelligence. If the residents are intelligent (Canada, Australia, European Union.etc), they are unlikely to support violence.
