Well I got a definite no from Avalon as to Paypal BtC or CC purchases
So All the more I would like to get this item for review.
Still waiting for a second contact and or follow up to first pm.

This gear would be a good seller I am hoping it works out.

Below is Avalon answer to me bank transfer only.

I mine alt coins with https://simplemining.net...
I see BTC as the super highway and alt coins as taxis and trucks needed to move transactions.

Hope you get one soon. I have 2 S5s i will upgrade if you find this rig to be good. If it is, let's hope the price is reasonable. The A7 is way too expensive and the S9s are.... well you know.

I don't think these guys will come to ya anytime soon... although they provided plenty of proof that they made their miner, they've showed no signs of activity recently. Great idea but poor execution... guess we have to hope. Maybe a lack of chips on their end?

To my knowledge Bitfury will not sell any chips no matter what project is out there. The idea is good but why on earth should Bitfury make competition against them self. Problem for all asic miner producers at the moment is TMSC full order book and huge delivery times, manly also the reason why Bitmains new Batch of S9 set to be released last Monday also is delayed.

It's X6 in custom case. Should hash at 6 Th with built-in PSU, but should go up to 8 Th with more powerful PSU. That's all I know. Let's wait for a while.  Cool

To my knowledge Bitfury will not sell any chips no matter what project is out there.

A little teaser for you: 7.9 Th at 1050 Wt ("at the wall" with the same PSU, 13 V input). More details will be later.

But if you are planning to buy these upgrade kits or miners, prepare a PSU that will be able to provide 13.6 V. Devs says that this is the optimal value.

13.6V? Its rare to find PSUs can that work on a voltage so high

well  12.5  can be found and 12.2 is pretty easy.

I have them  it may be that  watts per gh are better  at 12.5 or 12.2

I have not been contact about the model that was to be sent to me so  I can not  test with my lower volt psu's  to compare watts per gh.

Maybe it is a shipping issue as I am USA and Rabinovitch is Russia

That's what happens when you use a fixed-voltage string. Efficiency is about 5% better but there's no flexibility unless you can tweak the PSU itself.

Also, 1050W wall means about 950W board-level. That's a heck of a lot of juice to push through an S5 chassis. What's board temperatures look like?

Good thing J4bberwock included voltage adjustment as an option on his DPS-4K boards.  Also, DPS-1200 FBA PSU's in my experience can be had for cheap and put out slightly greater than 13V, found that out the hard way when a customer of mine near sidehack had an S5 fry, and the only explanation he could come up with was too high input voltage.
